WAR!
Yep, it's finally here. The update some of us have been waiting so long for. The Demoman/Soldier (aka War) update for TF2 is on it's way.
It's fairly similar to the Spy/Sniper update, with on exception: It's war. If the Soldier army kills more members of the Demoman clan, they will recieve a third weapon, and the other way around.

Soldier will triumph. Not only are they ahead by hundreds of thousands of kills already, but sticky-camping is just too annoying to let pass.

Soldier, because I can't play demo.

I suck at Soldier but I can play it no problem. Demo is my preferred class over Soldier.

As an avid Engineer I'm rooting for the Soldiers here. Both are bad for Engies, but fuck stickies so goddamn hard >:|

I don't really see why Soldier is more popular. The demoman is a lot more powerful if used correctly..

You just answered your own question. Soldier is reasonably powerful even when used incorrectly.

According to kill count, the Soldier is ahead by 218,999 kills as of December 12th, 7:46 PM PST.

Actually, the real trick was Valve promising updates would come to the 360 version as well. Those bastards still haven't done shit in two years. I want my goddamn update.

I recall they were a little pissed at Microsoft over something. Or visa versa. I forget.

Probably about Microsoft being bitches about content screening and costs and shit. Also, Team Soldier's still ahead! Woo!

But where are the updates? I expected a weapon reveal by today...

Check again, they just revealed two of the Demoman unlocks.

That's a good reason to selectively fuck over your customers. It's been two years. Whatever hoops MIcrosoft makes them jump through to get content doesn't take that long. I've accepted the fact that I may have to pay for it. I don't care.
