Hi I'm new here so sorry if this topic has been brought up before. I'm making a ums map and want to use the installation tileset for it, but was wondering if there is a way to be able to construct buildings in these, so far my attempts hace failed, scv's cant find a single location to even make a turret or bunker.

One time I heard that someone found a single buildable tile in installation, but I have no idea which tile it is or if it is even true. Someone who knows more than I about this would have to confirm this.

Installation is supposed to be terrain for the inside of buildings, so it's logical that you can't build on it. You can, however, pre-place buildings onto installation terrain with the map editor.

So to answer you: No, you can't build buildings on this tileset in game, as far as I know.

There is one buildable null tile for installation.

There's no way to import tiles from another tileset.

👻 👾 👽 💪

There are a LOT of buildable tiles in installation... They all look exactly the same. They all look exactly like a substructure tile. It's hard to miss them.
Edit: Why is the buildable installation tile in a wiki about null terrain?

Substructure itself isn't buildable, so please specify where to find one of these tiles.

I threw it in there years ago when I first made the article. Apparently nobody ever bothered to change it.
