The people who tried my map said that they ran on Windows.
How could the sprites not crash me, but crash others?
They saw the same things I did, and they didn't even have a chance to click anything.

It caused their whole SC to crash, not just desync as well.

Someone whose map crashes:

Open the map up, delete anything you think might cause a crash, then save the map and see if it crashes.

@Zach - I already tried deleting everything, but the key items I wanted to show. Deleting the sprites would complete go against the purpose of showing the map, since the map is all about the sprites. The sprites don't crash me though.

@Yoshi - I don't know of any other editors that can create disabled sprites.

You can disable sprites in SCMdraft I believe. You need to check off a flag on each unit.....

hey i tested 1.5 d4 on my own, and it didnt crash... so it only crashes when i'm on bnet playing with other ppl... I dont understand this at all. Is there some kind of sprite that's only there when there are both teams that could be affecting this crash glitch???

Just because he made it, doesn't mean he has to be good at it... It seems like he's just been takig a break from TS and stopped working on it for a while. I don't know when he'll start again, though.

Wow, its been a while since ne one's posted on this so i'll go for it.

The engineer's l4 has problems, in the fact that they're not invince. One specific thing that's really op is that the assault's L1 counters it completely now. And, the assault also has bomber, which also can both bypass the mines and kill them, and he even gets mins, apparantly, for the mines he kills with the dropship. I think a better solution to the problem is that you make a max limit on the number of mines allowed out on the field at once. This way, noone lags because the engineer has 40000 mines out, and he can't cover the entire field with 100 mines... so hopefully you check this and listen, because this is one of the many reasons why right now i prefer 1.4 to 1.5. No offense unholy.

I dont think the mines should be invincable, because that would be like a huge advantage of some sort to the special ops, i agree with the mine limate thing though, especially if the mines become invincable too.
