:payne:

If I would create a rock band, I would definitely pick those guys (I may write their name wrong):

Singer: Jym Morrisson (The Doors) OR Peter Gabriel (Genesis)
Synthetiser: The Doors' OR Emerson, Lake and Palmer's
Lead Guitar: David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)
Guitar #2: Jimy Page (Led Zeppelin)
Bass: Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) OR Sting
Drum: Phil Collins (Genesis)
Flute: Jethro Tull

What would you think of that band? :D

None.

Hello

I would like to have Mike Shinoda in the band. He is the MC in LinkinPark and a singer in Fort Minor.

If I could make a band, I'd go with: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Sound like good band?

:payne:

Doesn't even comes near to David Gilmour alone, lol. He doesn't even need a drummer to make good songs, nor a bassist :D

Sleeping wolves wake hungry.

Vocals - Craig Owens, Chiodos
Guitar - Chris Broderick, Megadeth
Bass - The Flea, Red Hot Chili Peppers
Drums - Joey Jordison from Slipknot and sequenced breakbeats. Why? Why not?

And me on synth.

YES! AMAZING LINE UP! I would make Neil Peart (from Rush) on drums though, amazing drummer.
But flute?

Andrew's line-up is basically just one band...

EDIT: Whoops, Neil Peart was already said.

The Synths from The Killers, and the singer from Maroon 5, I don't really care much about the rest :P

Glad to see people are participating ^^
I agree with Rush's drummer, but to my eyes, he's only the second best drummer of all times. Phil Collins is better, in my opinion.

@MA: Wtf britney Spears? ROCK band...
@Falk: Lmfao? Maroon 5?

Btw, good job for Sigur Ros, great idea ;P

Just Here For The Pie

Some would say that the 1969 line-up of the Buckaroos was the best line-up in any band in the history of American music.

For that, I believe, if anyone wants a really good line-up that they should add Buck Owens to their lists! :D

Vocals: John Cale
Lead Guitar: Buck Owens
Rhythm Guitar: Joe Maphis
Bass Guitar: Les Claypool
Drums: Keith Moon

WTF? Two country guitarist?- Yes, but just imagine them on distorted guitars with the gain on 'hi' and the overdrive exploding at 10! Especially Maphis, he just kicks the shit out of any fast alternate strummers in today's music.

WTF? Les Claypool?- (lol) He is the only great bassist I could think of, and I did not want to add a second member of The Who in there. John Entwistle is awesome, however!

WTF? Three of the people on your list are dead!- Yes, that is a problem...

Guitar: Nuno Bettencourt

Guitar: Yngwie Malmsteen

Guitar: Synyster Gates

Too epic?
