Today me and several other people, including pubbies noticed that USEast was really empty. You can't scroll for games cause there are about 8 games that are hosted. Channels were also dead. Is it because USEast is blocking some people right or is this really the near end for Battle.Net USEast?

well i know yesterday blizzard was doing alot of maintenance and i got d/c about 4 times and my bot like about 5. At first me and the people in the channel we were in thought that we were under attack by some clan with hacks. but i dont think that is the problem....maybe you just got on early? I think it could have been maintenence, if anyone remembers, there were spam bots in almost every BW: USA East channel talking about how that one guy lost that chick over the internet or whatever, and his being sorry. Besides that, I've been getting alot of lag from US East servers lately, and no, it isn't my internet connection. Or, we could all be wrong, and you just weren't looking hard enough ;/

Many people from East went to West. They all go to this channel called Clan wwsc (world wide sports center). I see anywhere from 10-25 people in that channel everyday. Although not a map making clan, it's a sports clan. I now go on west quite often just because this channel is probably one of the most active ones right now

i dont think east is dying you probably just got on at a bad time, if i recall correctly i went on at a similiar time with like 8maps being hosted in east but there was only like 11in west not much better, in general its generally just "LETS PLAY D2" time. as my friend so elliquently asked me when i went on lol.

Which was actually almost empty that day. Alot of people weren't on, alot of maintenance must have been going on.
