(Apparently I never made a topic here about this.)

PColor is a program I made on 11/11/2007 (and updated today) that will allow you to see all 256 player colors on every tileset without even touching StarCraft or an editor. I did that for you... 256 times.
Also note that the data was made is 1.15.1, so it may be out of date. Some will probably be incorrect anyway as there are a lot of variables that go into player colors.

Features:
Index - Inputs the player color value (0-255). The same value you put in your editor.
Tileset - Loads different tileset palettes to be used.
Colors - Shows the actual palette colors used. The first color is the minimap color, and the remaining 8 are the actual unit colors.
Preview - Shows a unit. Units now rotate and have some animation because of 1.1. ^^
uid - Currently displayed Unit ID. Click it to manually enter an ID, or use the scroller to go through them.

Also if you get the error about mscomct.ocx, you can download this and put it in the same directory as PColor1.1.exe.

Well, I downloaded both of your files, one of them by mistake, and I have no idea what to do. I will admit that I'm an idiot. I have the P.Color open and I put both of those files into the "Data" file and still nothing. The original program works fine, but not the newer version. HALP! :D

Put what in Data? O.o Nowhere does it say to put anything into Data.

The file structure should look like this:
/Data/animgrp.dat
/Data/tminimap.dat
/Data/tunit.dat
/PColor1.1.exe
/GRPapi.dll
/SFmpq.dll
/mscomct2.ocx (if you downloaded it from me)
/mscomct.ocx (if you downloaded it from me)
/PColor.txt

And whatever other misc. files are in there (such as if you overwrote the old one. :P)

Great Tool! I would have needed that earlier! ;)

But what about the leaderboard color?
It's sometimes different from the minimap color.
For example Color 19 @ Badlands is black on the minimap and transparent in the leaderboard.

Here is what I have in my P.Color Folder:

I downloaded both of the files from here. It still looks the same as the older version. (Units are not in the center of the preview box)

Did you try extracting the .rar files, perhaps?

They are never different. What you are talking about is black (pal index 0) is not drawn (and is thusly transparent), so in dialogs and leaderboard you see what is under it. Nothing is drawn under the minimap, so you just see black there.

They don't crash me... O.o I don't see why you'd want to use a negative number in the first place.

I never would have guessed that my nagging Farty months ago to make this into an actual program would turn into something like this, nice job Farty, I've already used it a few times, I'd love to see you making a lot more mapper utilities instead of those modding ones :P

Psh. I make utilities for everything. Even DatEdit can be useful for mapping. :P
Stuff like TrigPlug is for both. :shifty:
