This elder-scrolls map isn't as good as the others IMO. The spells were really underwhelming and no one really liked the stamina system.
I won't pass judgment until I try it out later tonight, but I feel like I could never criticize any of these MetalGear RPG maps given the craft on display in them. They are just too impressive for me to shit on them for little design choices or quirks.

RPG maps of this caliber being released in 2016-2017 is a miracle in itself. I can only hope that the Remaster yields enough of a BW resurgence to warrant more mapmakers returning to the fray to put out some new stuff.

Speaking of Starcraft Remastered, is there any news about the UMS features ?
Will "old" .scm / .scx maps be compatible ?
I kinda have a doubt =/

Yes, all old maps will work with the remaster unless they used EUD's.

Hey MetalGear,

Hopefully you're still around. In 1.19 (and probably 1.18), you can't see which line you have highlighted in the menus once you start scrolling up/down. Do you think you could fix this issue and upload a new version? I really feel like playing through your maps right now, but this little quirk is quite bothersome.

Here's what happens with any menu:

- Bring up the menu and the top row is highlighted in a different color to show that it's selected
- Press either scroll up or scroll down in the Overlord menu
- The row loses its highlight, and now all rows remain grey so you can't tell which one you have highlighted until you select it in the Overlord menu

Yes I see the problem. Unfortunately when I re-installed Starcraft I lost all my maps so I can't fix the issue. But to be frank, I actually have no idea how to fix this issue anyway, which is a problem for my future maps to come. Anyone got any ideas?

Ultraviolet -- Yeah, I suppose there's something to that

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Ultraviolet -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
