You can select up to three options, if ever, you have a combination of mixed gameplay.

Damn it, I forgot to add an option of "Massing Air Defenses" surrounding your base. :P

Play legit and cheat if something does wrong, mods, and load months/years later and go "wtf was I thinking"

I don't cheat, but I do use... unusual... strategies at times. Like in that map where you have to get Raynor to the Norad II, I just build twenty or so Dropships, upgraded their armor all the way, and just had them all fly to the Beacon, with Raynor's ship in the middle.

I mostly play "directly to the objective ASAP".

For example, in sc zerg 2 i often just take everything i have and accompany the drone carrying the chrysalis to the beacon (hunter killers own). I often do the same in protoss 4 too after i rescued Tassadar (this one's pretty hard, but micro and storming does it). The best, though, was probably sc terran 7 where i just put defensive matrix on my scv with the psi emitter and rushed to the beacon. ^^ Oh, and in bw zerg 2 i didn't even build a base (because that runs AI for enemy), just rescued everything and destroyed the disrupter.

Sometimes i do the opposite though.

In sc terran 3 (survive 30 minutes) i destroyed everything with massmarine. :omfg:

lol i did it the hard way. I always build up to the 200 supply limit and then i mass hundreds of units.

Play legit, cheat if it isn't going well, but never power overwhelming. Pwnage of cheating depends on phail of playing. :P Like, once, I had lost a level three times and I was getting frustrated (Terran campaign, the one where you get a tiny little base in the bottom right corner and there's two terran enemies trying to kill you), so I used food for thought, show me the money, and the gathering to make a 16-silo nuclear base surrounded by missile turrets and goliaths, and blow the shit out of everything.

Usually, I kind of have some kind of strategy. For protoss, usually scout micro, for terran, usually nuking, and for zerg, usually sneaky hydras followed by ultras.

Which was the first map you actually resorted to using cheats on? I think it was crashed terran norad one with duke for me.

I usually drag the games out as long as possible (200 supply limit before victory) but when i played the demo campaign i rushed to the objective. Also campaign+mods = lulz.

I never cheated in the campaign and never will, except for Radio Free Zerg. (Although I might cheat to unlock Dark Origin.)

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value
[2024-5-06. : 5:01 am]
Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
