No, I don't want to. I think they look better with the borders. Plus, Photoshop takes forever to load and I don't want to mess with it again.

It looks fine on the offline image, but in the other ones it's the icon is cutoff by the border.

Dear FlyingHat:
Cool, nice work. I'd recommend changing the colors, though, to suit the color scheme of the site and the importance of its attention. Yellow and red stick out very heavily against a green and gray background. Meanwhile, a green icon would blend in. You want to think about whether it is important for an icon to call attention to itself or not. If it isn't important, the color contrast becomes a distraction rather than a useful guide for the eye. In this case, someone being online is what is important, whereas offline and contact are commonplace.
Also, what about the Data Disc for the contact icon? =o)

Perfected.
Try the gray. I think it might be better than the red.

Or the power icon for lulz!

I've changed the color for the offline icon. :0
And no, I'm not going to use the data disc or power icon because I'm too lazy to go through all the extracting stuffs again.

Meh, not really. I'm using carbonite right now and I like the green.

It would be cool to have it like a .gif image. Have the Vulture Spidermine as well as the Map Revealer cycle through Player 1-12's colors.

As a looping animation, that'd be annoying. As a mouseover effect, it could work. However, people are unlikely to understand the intention of representing the player colors, instead seeing it as a rainbow cascade. What might be cooler is animating the spider mine's red lights to blink and the radar dishes of the map revealer to swivel on mouseover.
I'd probably do all that and possibly more. But Adobe Photoshop and Flash were killed on my PC. So now I'm reinstalling.
