I've been playing EVE for about two months now and I think it's a fantastic game

Who else is playing or have played the game and what do you think about it?

Hell yes! EVE-Online kicks ass!

Been playing for a while now. I'm Voyan Ageri, in case I ever meet/pod you.

I want to play, but for some reason I can't even do the trial version

Mine too, unless it pays with paypal im not getting it, but i did try the trial and don't much like it.

EVE Online is the best MMO ever. I'm Woaz, and I'm an Industrialist who pirates when he's got no buyers.

This game is amazing, I recommend all of you to join Voyager, Zycorax, and I as we pirate the Galaxy for all of its plunders! If we get big enough, we could form a Staredit Network Corporation!

I asked him if he still played and he said no so I didn't play it.
Now I'm just about to return to uni.
DAMN IT, VOY.

It's a great game, but it gets a wee bit repetitive after a while.

I have a friend who plays roughly 12-16 hours a day, 7 days a week. His power scares me. O.o

Now that I have my parent's trust for pay-to-play games... I tried the demo, and honestly, I thought there wasn't really anything interesting about it other than the complexity and explosions. The Fight system is almost completely automated so all you do is watch the fights, trading has never been my cup of tea in games (unless I need money because I had a bad killing streak).

So, if someone could convince me to try it again, instead of waiting for the much more interesting looking Darkfall, I May try it again.

If you think you can win fights by just clicking a couple times and then watching, I guarantee you any decent player will send your sorry ass back to a clone vat.

I looked over some 'features' and all of Eve, but how exactly do you play/ Do you order every command to your ship in combat? Do you set a sequence of moves and sit back reading a book? EXPLAYNE.

It's not nearly as interactive as most MMOs though.

EDIT: KK convinced me of it's epic, I'm probably getting a subscription.

Anyways, from what I saw, the system would get a bit repetative, and they want me to be a miner, but eh.

And KK, you sir, just hooked me on EVE.

It looks pretty epic, but I can't play it because I can't pay for it.

I once tried to create a (2D) version of EVE using BYOND, but it failed epically. If I get moar skillz I might try it again.

EDIT: Well, it wasn't a copy of EVE, but it was a similar concept.

Here's how I convince my parents to let me get Pay2Play games.
1) Actually ask them
2) Remind them that I go through more than $15 a month on games.
3) If asked "What if it's a fake", reply that X amount of people have an active subscription
4) Play away!
