My two cents are simply that I think that Esponeo deleted a lot of stuff really unnecessarily. There were threads that I found interesting that were deleted/locked by those I deem much better moderators, yes, and yet Esponeo deleted/locked more then everyone else on that list. There's a reason that there's such a vocal outcry against Esponeo, and I don't see the only reason for that being something stupid like 'OMG THEYRE JELOS' or 'THEY HAYTE ESPONEO' or 'ESPONEO IS 2 GUD 4 DEM'. I don't think I've ever actually been directly moderated by him (check: Just Dappy and Moosie), but some of his locks/deletes, such as the Protect/Unprotect and quite a few others that don't come to mind shouldn't have been removed. And this is just from my experience with him in the Other forum (if you demote him instead of firing/notdoinganything him, don't send him there, please), so I'm sure that I'd be a good deal more vocal if I was active in other forums.

I just think that there are a lot of better moderators to be chosen from. Hell, even Hercanic, who I don't really know and who seems a bit annoying looks more attractive as a Global Moderator. There are some older members (I'd prefer to keep a distinction ) who would do better in my opinion too. I still don't know why you fired DTBK .

And now for some personal bitterness: I don't think someone who pisses everyone off, who not too long ago sent dozens of PM's just to win a Survivor game and who (I think, I may be wrong) hacked SEN in the past deserves a GM position.

yea you need to quit saying shit like "this thread has run its course" this isn't a "what are you listening to?" thread this a discussion and it should remain open. People who haven't even seen this may have input. You lock topics spastically, and maybe the OSMAP thread should have been closed, yet you run rampid on your locking sprees which I think moose will agree is completely unnecessary. Besides that its fucking annoying. I can't even start to respect you when you mock us with shit like this I think he was talking about devilisk anyway. Even if he's talking about me he's completely wrong (and considering the whole statement I don't even see how one could reasonable say it's not referring to Esponeo). Centreri is just whining because he's bitter over the locking of "his" precious protection debate topic.

These kinds of stupid misconceptions and beliefs are why you guys are incapable of justly criticizing Esponeo.How does Esponeo deserve to be a mod? Well for one thing he's not a dumbass. :-_-:

EDIT: You should all be aware that moderators are not actually capable of suspending or warning anyone in any meaningful way. We can delete posts, but as this thread has once again shown, people simply continue on with their shouting matches. The only method we have to stop the children from bickering is to lock a topic completely. It is an unfortunate technical issue.

Esponeo, please stop locking topics without cause. If spam is starting to build up, delete or edit the spam. Topics should be saved before being locked if reasonably possible.
