Im tired of seeing all these madnesses that are just the same things over and over. I want to create a madness where numbers dont count. The theme is metal...metal music. Each unit will be a metal band (obviously). I have many ideas for this and have even started it. What im looking for is complete uniqueness. More spells than heroes. Things that havnt been done before to a madness. Please post your ideas and any idea that I use will of course be recognized by its owner. If you also want to help just drop me a line on the west server (Arch]Enemy).

Something I would also love to do is some 3D Terrain, or some other creative terrain.

You can learn how to do some basic terrains here.

I admit that while madnesses are stupid, I see no point in making another one, even if it is better than the others.

But, that being said, I know you will still want to go ahead and try to improve on the bad idea of a madness map, so a suggestion I have would be to make it so that heros are really useful, basically, make it so that a group of heros IS possible to get, and a group can take out a bunch of madness units easily. Otherwise I can't really think of anything that could make a madness better other than actually balancing it out.

I agree with you Falkoner but to do a high end map would be much too time consuming since I work so much. :-(

no worries guys cob CoF and arch enemy will be there....along side with slayer, lamb of god, sepultura, megedeth, behemoth, opeth..the list goes on lol

I had started a madness where the more units you have, the slower your respawn... and if you have no units your respawn is insanely high. Also to upgrade your unit you had to spend minerals that were retrieved from kills. You could also switch your unit back to any unit you had previously purchased.

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
