I'm pretty sure that we can trust each other to not put it in a piggy bank. Also, I'm pretty sure we can trust that someone will be like "Hey we won, we got your flag and put in our bases".

Why not hardcore? Why do you care about your character so much? It's not hard to avoid being killed by monsters... Slimes are easy as hell and zombies can't do shit once you build something as small as a 4x4 house.
I say we start with a fresh world, fresh characters, choose teams, spread out, build fortresses and try to eliminate all other teams from the game by all means necessary. Hardcore characters of course... so the game actually ends eventually.

Everyone died first night, probably because we're so used to going out at night. It has nothing to do with my character lol. Don't sound so irritated.
Dem0n you didn't even play the last time we did this.

We should wait until next weekend or something. Everyone's school is starting soon and most of the people here also work. I think Saturday morning (like 11:00 or so) would be best, because we would have a lot of time to play and a lot of people would probably be more free than they would be on the week days. ;o
Some things that might make a "juggernaut" more fair: - No bullet weapons - No Sandgun - No Vilethorn - No Muramasa or Blade of Grass - No Dark Lance - No Hellstone/Firey Items - No Gravitation Potions - No Featherfall Potions - No Ironskin Potions - No Mana Regeneration Potions - No Dynamite - No Sticky Bombs - No Grenades - No Magic Mirror - No Rocket Shoes - No Cobalt Shield - No blocks that can't be mined with the default pickaxe - No spikes - No buckets of lava
To be totally epic we should make it so he gets like... extra health, 9999 blocks of sand, sand gun, some armor (nothing great). He's only allowed to shoot sand blocks. It'd be a hard gun to use especially if we don't let him have a pickaxe.
Oh, and red balloon would help.

There's a suspicious lack of "no grappling" on your list
We did PvP #2, it was 2v1v1 (Shady and Hein, vs Tux, vs me). Hein was intermittently afk, and Shady arrived about 15 minutes later, so it seemed fair to have them team up.
It went for a while, over an hour. We used hardcore characters, dying to anything meant you lost. No one died to anything except other players.
Not realizing that each team gets their own NPCs until after Shady got there, Tux and myself had both been on the "neutral" team which meant we would share our NPCs. He built his house with four bedrooms so that any NPCs would have a pretty high chance of going to him lol.
Hein and Tux ended up killing each other at the same time with well-placed grenades I can't give too many details on what led up to that since I wasn't there.
I tracked down Shady, who started escaping down a chasm. I began pouring lava down the hole on top of her, and she built a wood enclosure around herself to divert it. I continued pouring lava, which flowed around the wood and prevented her from placing any more. I threw down a sticky bomb on the roof of the enclosure, and she started digging out the floor to avoid it. When it exploded, lava poured in and started killing her. She managed to dig out the floor before the lava finished her, but plummeted to her death.
All in all, I enjoyed it. It helped that the players didn't run around at night fighting demon eyes and zombies until dying.
