It's rather unfair that there is no way to know.. most of the times you get rickrolled, it's when you do something stupid.

That can't be true. The inferno is a lie.

Oh goody, you added a link under mapping, too

My first time, sigh..
Actually, the link has been there. It used to take you to a "not done" sorta page.

IP e-mailed me a big .ZIP file of code for the downloads database he was working on and said "upload this for me", so I did. After a few hours of fixing bugs in there, the DLDB is new open.

Howabout, ",the DLDB is now open."?

I suppose this site will never really be a mapping site again.

Oh well. I enjoyed it for a few seconds.

Did you ever even post anything in any of the mapping forums? Just cause we don't have downloads doesn't mean we aren't a mapping site -.-

Jan 12 2008, 1:44 pm Zergblender Post #28

You'd have to be really gullible to fall for that again.

Relatively ancient and inactive

More like paranoid. The link is 100% valid, so nothing to warn you.

Wow, everyone's been so apeshit about a joke. O_o'

Rapidshit and MegaUpload still work, and SEN will always have that home feel to it. Give it time and support it instead of saying one little joke fails.

Besides, if it wasn't for SEN, half of you non-believers wouldn't EVEN BE HERE. I rest my case.

+5 lulz points. Of course if SEN didn't exist, none of us would be at SEN. :P

The point of a mapping site is generally features related to mapping. There were people to help with mapping issues, and post and comment on maps. However, without the features, we may as well be using an invisionfree forum. When people first come to a site for mapping, they're generally interested in the maps they can download, the tutorials, the wiki, the mods DB. The forum is generally the last thing on their minds, and the only true point of a forum is for things that are too specific for the other sections.

I applaud, Moose. I applaud. I didn't see that coming.

That's why I love this site still. No one comes here to map, get that through your skull people. Do some of you still play SC? Please go get a better computer and start playing The Orange Box, Crysis, Bioshock, Unreal Tournament 3, etc. kthnx. :)

I come here to map. I still play StarCraft. My computer is good enough to hold up all of those games at the same time. But you do make a point, a lot of people come here for the forums "Other" and down. Which leaves only the "Other" forums.
