I personally like the Razer Diamondback best. I'm currently on my second one and still have nothing to complain about.

My friend has that and it's all right, from what I could tell when using it.

I use Logitech G5 and it's the best mouse I've ever run into. Period.

I don't have a gaming mouse, but I would like a Razer Krait from what I heard. I only play RTS.

regular mouses usually have a low dpi and are really hard to be accurate with (like if you're trying to draw something in photoshop or flash)

I don't really notice differences in mouse types, really... Except for between optical and trackball.

For topic 1337, this sure could be more 1337.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I have Logitech MX Revolution. Wireless, Laser, with a nice free-spinny wheel and good shape. I'd love it, if it weren't so durn wireless! It's impossible to game with it.

So I use Logitech MX 510. Optical, wired. It does me good.

About 6 years and running with the Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical and wired. It's only 800dpi but it's pretty damn good. I'm thinking of getting another one soon, this one is starting to fall apart (it already lost one of it's slider things).

Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000

It rocks, I can move across the entire screen and only move about 2 cm, and it's not like it's inaccurate either, it can hit things perfectly, and it has a great shape too!

I totally agree.

Its total win for gaming if your a hotkey freak, you basically got 8 bottoms to bind actions too, helps alot.

I use the MX518, even being a lefty, I find it an awesome mouse, however, I end up missing out on like 2 thumb buttons, but whatever, I'm not big into FPSs so I make due without them pretty well.

If I were to buy another gaming mouse, I would probably buy the Krait. If I were a righty, this would probably change.
