I'm looking for maps to play for people who haven't ever played (so obviously i'm looking for UMS maps) Feel free to shoot down one of the ones I have listed if you want.
Here is my list so far:
Minigame party (or whatever the correct name is)
Evolves
Devolves
Poker defense
build tug of war
Zone control
Temple siege (which version was best for this?)

Uhh....ya what do you suggest?

None.

Cat and Mouse. Noobs love those maps.

Win by luck, lose by skill.

I order you to forgive yourself!

Marine Defense (Pretty much any other type of defense)
The Thing
Super Mario 2D (I think that's how it was called)

Most of those maps can be found here: http://www.sc-maps.com/

Don't play Temple Siege unless your friends know other DotA-esque games. It's pretty tedious to pick up.

I really can't think of anything though to be honest. =o

This. TS is definitely not noob friendly.

Worms is fun.
Also Phantom (don't be afraid because of its melee style. If you want them to like sc it can't hurt to give them a glimpse of melee play because this is where it shines.)
Madness maps. Who doesn't love carnage?
Also want to emphasize 'The thing' which Apos already mentioned.
Laser tag / paintball a few rounds of mindless shooting to relax ;)
RPGs. Please choose quality ones like Golden Knight, Hell's Awakening or The Tenebrous

Or Resident Evil X, Ezterix's silent hill, rush, spellsword, death knights 3 (or any previous ones, incidentally does anyone here have a copy of DK2 or DK1?) etc.

Red classic.

rush
An excellent RPG, but only single player.

You can play two player, you just need to know the two player code.

Find Me On Discord (Brood War UMS Community & Staredit Network)

I heard from a friend of a friend that there is this really awesome RPG called Hell's Awakening and you should totally play it because apparently it is the best RPG ever.

Back* from the grave

I don't have the no-timer Normandy (:() but if you do, and you feel like telling them a little about SC, that'll do.

A Fun RPG Map I liked was "Pathways Into Darkness II", though you have to save often.

I vote falling tiles and mini game party (test their skillz, bwahahah), but I would also vote We Are Friend and the like because massive effects are always cool.

In my opinion KILLER HAUNTED MANSION is a definite classic

Vrael -- It is, and I could definitely use a company with a commitment to flexibility, quality, and customer satisfaction to provide effective solutions to dampness and humidity in my urban environment.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?

Vrael -- Do you know anyone with a deep understanding of the unique characteristics of your carpets, ensuring they receive the specialized care they deserve?

NudeRaider -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I've also recently becoming interested in Carpet Cleaning, but I'd like to find someone with a reputation for unparalleled quality and attention to detail.
beats me, but I'd make sure to pick the epitome of excellence and nothing less.

Vrael -- It seems like I may need Introductions to multiple companies for the Topics that I care deeply about, even as early as Today, 6:03 am.
