Anyone play this puzzle game? It is quite interesting. There also seems to be hidden meanings to the plot. It is currently $2.49 on steam. It is quite short but it is worth it for $2.49. You kind of manipulate time and stuff and reminds me of super mario very much.

Just Here For The Pie

I like the ending the most about this game. Apparently you build the atomic bomb. I never actually sat down and played it, but my friend has it. He showed me a lot of cool stuff about it. Uncool things too; like waiting for an hour to ride a cloud to get one of the stars.

He also got all the achievements, which, as I understand, is not a fun thing to do.

Just Here For The Pie

There are seven secret stars throughout the game you can collect. Non of them are for achievements, but the hardest achievement is beating the whole game in the challenge time.

I wanted to play, but two of my friends who had it (in the same room ...) wouldn't let me because they were playing it. :C

The only thing I could think about after watching the clip was, "man...it would suck if my last name was Whitehead."

I just finished it now, too. Those last few puzzle pieces were insane. Still working on the stars, though.

Spoilers n' shit

Once in a lifetime brilliance with this one.

Will somebody tell me about these "stars"?

I assumed that the knight was Perseus and the princess is Andromeda and Tim is the monster because of the Andromeda constellation outside the house.

IMO, the amazing puzzles is what made the game so awesome to play through, and the amazing story (which was basically all at the end) was what made it so memorable.

Spoilers/Story rant

I love Braid, and it's definitely one of my favorite games. I went back and beat basically all the user made levels on that site I linked to, too, even though they really aren't nearly as awesome as the originals :)

Just Here For The Pie

The more stars you collect, the more of the princess's levers do not work.

Like, as I can recall, you first see the ending cut scene as the princess running from the knight, and she keeps flipping these switches to help you through the end. In reality, the scene is played backwards, and the princess is running from you, flipping switches as she goes to stop you.

You are the bad guy, and the knight is the good guy.

When you catch her, you finally create the atomic bomb. The whole game is a chain of thought.

ALSO, I was talking to my friend, and he told me that one of the stars is made by putting together two puzzles a certain way, and then turning them to make it look like a star. If you solve the puzzle, you cannot undo the puzzle, and can no longer obtain that star. BUMMER, I know.

Nearly got all the stars. I actually attempted finding them the hard way, too, but only managed to find a few. I tried to use only hints on their location for the rest. Man. You haven't seen evil incarnate until you've tried to solve these fuckers.

It's fascinating seeing everyone's different solutions to these puzzles. Particularly the Fickle Companion one, which involves an especially evil procedure to pull off.

Now I just got to do that 2 hour wait, and then its on to the last star! ZE BOMB PREENCESS VILL BE MIEN!
