Why would you want a band to rerecord something? I never really like it when bands do that, especially when they sell it with shinier production in a new package. It just seems dumb for them to waste their time and efforts rerecording songs you've already heard before. Unless they have a new singer or something, then I don't feel it's quite as much of a cash grab/waste of time.
