Inorite?

Less Than Jake - Scott Farcas Takes It On The Chin
CaptainWill subliminally messaged me to listen to this by using the phrase "take it on the chin". Of course, I couldn't remember the name of the song, only the trombone part... So weird when that happens.

Cradle of Filth - No Time To Cry
Cradle of Filth - Nymphetamine

I don't like most of Cradle of Filths songs, but those two are amazing! Gotta love Metal!

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for songs that are like No Time To Cry?

Really, anything on Thornography (Their album before Nymphetamine), sounds a tad bit like that. Other than that you can try some other symphonic goth metal bands, or whatever the genre would be.

Distorted has melodic riffing like that, try their Voices From Within album, if you use limewire, One Last Breath is probably the best song on it.

On the symphonic side of things, Hollenthon is a wonderful symphonic metal band, their album Opus Magnum was a beautiful piece of work.

On the pop-ish aspects of those songs, you could try Emilie Autumn, she's essentially symphonic goth industrial, beautiful voice.

Illnath's "Second Skin of The Harlequin" was probably won of the better symphonic goth metal albums I've heard though, "And There Was Light", "Pieta", and "Clockwork of Sand" were good tracks.

On the more depressing side of things, Trenches "And The Tide Will Swallow Us Whole" was good. Anything by My Dying Bride is good in that vein as well. (No, those aren't 'emo' bands)

Beneath the Massacre - Modern Age Slavery
Beneath the Massacre - Long Forgotten

The first song of their's I listened to I thought was boring. This is a little better. I'll give it a listen.

Classic. The singer, Victor Tsoi, died back in 1990 in a car accident, I believe. Beautiful.
