Yes, every sleep schedule is flexible once you've adjusted to it.
But there seems to be a rule of thumb that the shorter your sleeping periods are the more timely you have to make up for it.

Well, I made it through another day, no mistakes. No sleep, but I came close a few times during my naps, so I might be getting somewhere.
Plug it into a loudspeaker. ;oSee, I would do that, except at night, it might not be appreciated.

As long as the volume is not excessive it should work... just leave your door closed. I'm sure any alarm is not appreciated. I remember when my brother's alarm'd go off at like 5 am you could hear it everywhere.
