Really? I always micromanaged what was more worth carrying so I could get the best loot out of dungeons without coming back. There was a lot of mental math involved.

You didn't need to micro manage in morrowind, all you had to do was enchant every single clothing you had to add that feather effect.

Haha yeah, I had 2 sets of armor: My normal heavy armor with all my custom enchantments and one just clothing/light with feather. When I had beaten everything in a cave I put on the light armor and collected everything. If it wasn't enough I went back to get the rest. Looking back, this I was really crazy...

What did they censor in the US release?

Probably nothing, but the German versions are usually less violent. I read that you can't tear off or explode limbs, no blood and robots don't ex-/implode. However usually there exists some blood patch / uncut version to correct that.
The funniest restriction is for Japanese versions though: The quest where you can nuke a city has been taken out.

#4 Anyone who has played Super Mario Brothers and was into the game has done that. It's always fun. If you miss, it bounces up, I think.

I missed it 9/10. But that just made nailing it all the better.

Okay, now I'm playing Fallout 3. And I must say I wonder about 9.
I can't imagine someone really picking up EVERYTHING he finds, even set aside the things that give you bad Karma because it belongs to someone, there's just such an unbelievable amount of items everywhere that it's totally not worth it picking them all up once you surpassed level 5 or so and have enough money for most things anyway.

Most of these items have value and weight 1. I now only pick items with 20 times value of their weight. And often enough not even that, because I'm too lazy to visit every damn shop I ever came across because they can't pay enough anyway... I got like 20k now so it's really just a waste of time.

Btw. thanks for the tip it's a great game and a worthy successor. It's only a bit sad that I haven't even met my dad yet, but already reached level 20. It needs MOAR levels.
I think I was thinking about Fallout Tactics when I said it would suck.

not everything. 1 weight, 1 value = useless... But at least I took as much as I could carry before leaving
I never had more than 6k. In Morrowind, I had 26k :X there I took everything I could get...

when I was young and played C&C Red Alert 1... hell I saved every 2 minutes...

I never played the other games and you have no time for #6 in my favorite FPS game (RtCW:ET).
