As for the biker, I believe he used to be the vulture. In a REALLY old map by vinzalf, Kyprion Pact, there was a vulture which used this image. I don't recall the patch number, but it was well before broodwar came out.
Those "duplicates" are actual duplicates in the MPQs. Since it was batched, I saw no reason to just throw them out.

Biker? I thought that guy was the unused Adjutant from a beta version of StarCraft '97.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

But a patch screw the numbers
I made a test map with all not-crashing extended flags in that time.
I experienced odd effects like I changed the map folder to a new folder "m" in starcraft's main folder.
