Nice video, made my eyes hurt and made me somewhat dizzy. Love the music.

The annoying thing is getting the image to focus. I can get my eyes to go crosseyed and then hold it there without much effort, but the image is normally a bit blurry. Pretty awesome though.

Wow this is legal drugs! I love the effect, if some study would be made about it to prove that it is not dangerous for the eye, maybe hollywood could make 3D movies without glasses this way?!

I order you to forgive yourself!

There were studies that were made about this that proves that it doesn't hurt your eyes in the long term (it won't change anything about your eyes.). I think that the reason they don't use this for long movies is that we are not used to cross our eyes and that makes it hurt a little, not everyone could do it so they would only be looking at one image instead of the two. Also, I'm pretty sure they make more money when making it with glasses. According to me though, I think the 3D looks better without glasses because what the image is like is how it will look like, there isn't anything to filter like red and blue glasses change the image a little and the real D 3D makes it look a bit darker.

I used to not be able to do it. I don't know why this time I was all of a sudden able to do it. The 3d image isn't clear though, although it definately looks 3d. It's hard to focus. Btw, music is dope.
EDIT: That paper 3d viewer, is it supposed to be that small? Or do I need to enlarge it to full printer paper size?

Make it the size of your paper. Also, the 3rd image should be even cleaner than the other ones. I tryed with some blurry images and the 3rd image (the one in the middle) was less blurry or not at all. All you need to do is make your eyes focus on the image at does it auto for me because I practiced it.

uhh what do you have to do with these triple images to see them 3D?

It can't be good for your eyes crossing them so much

It isn't. It only hurts because you use little-used muscles.

You need three eyes for those. :bleh:

You can do any two combination you want, left + middle, left + right, middle + right. :-(

👻 👾 👽 💪

I can cross my eyes just fine, it's just while they are crossed I can't seem to get them to focus on anything ... I just got them to overlap just fine, but I can't focus on it so it's really blurry.

I can't cross my eyes :(

The first time is always the hardest  After that, it becomes pretty easy.

It's physically impossible to cross my eyes. I had my head smashed against a table when I was young and it did something to them. Now I'm missing out on this. Shhhiiiiitttt

If you are able to look at your nose, you should be able to do it, if you really can't cross your eyes, you can always use the parallel method.

At my school, there is a teacher that got some card board glasses made to help with that method, I can't do the parallel without it, maybe you can.

If you still can't get it, I created some alternative ways to get it when I first learned to do this. One of them is to put your finger at the middle distance between your eyes and the picture, you will see 3 images and slowly focus on the middle one. Also try to be "far" from the picture, the farther you are the easier it is to look at.
This is a stereoscopic photo I took today: (click it so you get better quality, bigger size, etc.)

If you are interested in viewing more of the photos I've taken just reply :)

Necroed!!!!!

I just discovered a new way to make animated pictures look 3D! I believe this method is even more practical.
Awesome!

Essentially, your eyes assume that the white lines are on the same plane as your monitor. Therefore, anything below the line ends up being behind the screen while anything in font ends up being above.

It's best for the lines to be the same color as the background, therefore whoever created the gifs should have made them transparent... (As done on the second gif.) (But I still feel the effect works quite well even on Sen.)

That's it for my 4 year necro. Have fun if this inspires you!
