Hey every.
I keep running into a-holes who like to drop people out of games.
Is there any antihack to detect hacks and fight against dropping players?

None.

EUD triggers, but they get patched by zyn nearly as fast as you can make em. Otherwise, against DROP hacks, you have to use a hack of your own, AFAIK.

Red classic.

I remember awhile ago (pre 1.16.1) that there was this antihack that saw if someone was trying to drop you, it stopped it, and dropped the person trying to drop you.

I guess that's not around anymore?

I'm pretty sure it is. Do you want an antidrop for YOURSELF? Or for a map?

Oblivion had this feature in a previous version of starcraft that had put a stop to most drophacks for a while, unfortunately nooby game hackers who somehow mange to make a drophack have no clue how to protect against their own work so we are left with drophacks that can't be patched.

Look at the section this topic is in, and it's obvious.

I thought every public drop hack had a quirk that could be detected. I know Jiggie's does but I'm not sure about the other ones.

Well, I know for a fact that there are at least 4 different working drop hacks for 1.16.1 and theres not one dll that offers protection against that?
I don't mean drop hack with triggers, I mean drop hack in a map.
I'll admit, drop hack is VERY useful in a game where you defeat someone, but they use stay alive hack to annoy you, but in you're playing spawn defense, and you start winning, it's VERY annoying to 'randomly' disconnect from the match.

And yea, I think it was oblivion that dropped other people out who tried to drop you out. But that was before 1.16.1

Put it this way, a drop hack can't be fixed and anyone who knows what they are doing and talking about knows that. So the only way you are gonna protect yourself from a drophack you make public is to put something else inside of it, the smart ones do and the stupid ones don't. I think its stupid to release a drophack in the first place but I suppose some people just get a little desperate these days for fame, money or both.

The only reason I can think of for adding a protection feature to your own hack is to protect your ego from the script kiddies who use your own program against you.

Well at least we are protected from Panacea. :)

To be honest. The BEST way to prevent anti-hack is with a good community.

To my knowledge there aren't any good anti-hacks out currently, BW Chart can let you detect them later, but not in-game, what I really want to get rid of is this new hack called FaceRemover, which spams with the changing latency message, which unfortunately, Blizzard forgot to make /ignore ignore..

Here's an anti-hack that alerts you of some in-game hacks: Anti

And here's a hack that drops all players using a certain hack, not sure if it works or how popular the hack it drops is though..

Zhuinden is right though, there's no foolproof way of detecting drophacks, and a lot of them are basically impossible to beat, since the creators didn't add protection for themselves, however, it seems to me that there should be a way to create your own hack to patch the exploits they use to drop you, I may be wrong though :-_-:

That can be done with simple keyboard input calls ...

Heh, there will always be hackers. If we really want to get rid of them, we should protest against blizzard.

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
