Today i randomly opend the x_vulture.ral file with the notepad, and saw that: x_Vulture.grp
x_Vulture000.bmp
x_Vulture001.bmp
x_Vulture002.bmp
x_Vulture003.bmp
x_Vulture004.bmp
x_Vulture005.bmp
x_Vulture006.bmp
x_Vulture007.bmp
x_Vulture008.bmp
x_Vulture009.bmp
x_Vulture010.bmp
x_Vulture011.bmp
x_Vulture012.bmp
x_Vulture013.bmp
x_Vulture014.bmp
x_Vulture015.bmp
x_Vulture016.bmp
when i would write x_Vulture017.bmp are there then 17frames in that grp?
this would be usefull for some modders
NOTE:
Just for wthe ones who dont know whats a .ral file: when you use retrogrp like me, and convert a grp into bitmaps, then you become all the frames and a ***.ral (*** = x_nameofunit like x_tbarrack001.bmp)
this is used for making new grps. If you press create grp (retrogrp again) then you can choose a .ral file and convert it to .grp .Taddaaa! A new grp is born
None.
x_Vulture000 counts as a frame, too. If you made x_Vulture017.bmp, there would be 18 frames.
Also what you are doing with the .ral file actually the point of the .ral file...

Don't use retroGRP, it is shitty.
None.
Everyone who has a half-decent understanding of retroGRP or has read a tutorial on it (IIRC there are two or three) will already know this. Thanks for trying to share, though.

There are a number of better alternatives. I prefer SFGrpConv myself.
