I would like to see a repick feature on polls because just today, I wanted to answer a poll and I picked before reading then realized I wanted something else. I go to see if theres a repick button and there isn't, So this is why I'm making this post. Your probably going to tell me I'm stupid for answering before I read, but that wouldn't be a problem if there was a repick button. So IP, would it be possible for you to add that?

Hello

I'm against this because I think that "voted is voted".
If you are not sure then don't vote or first read something about the thread the poll is about.

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

We live in a society.

Why should we have to compensate for your shortcomings?

At best it should be optional to the poll creator.

It's life. That's why you have to compensate before making a decision. It's like going to the election poll, voting, and then changing your mind. SEN is therefore, preparing you to the real world. You're welcome.

The poll was the "Favorite RP Map Maker" poll, which you obviously don't need to read about to know what it is.

You were twatish for being so hasty. Echo cut the real world shit... it's annoying when school says it, more so on a StarCraft forum...

Then don't read it? I'm entitled to post what I want as long as it doesn't go against the rules. And I was being sarcastic, sorry you couldn't pick it up.

I think it's a fine (if unimportant) option, if

(a) it is only available within 200 seconds of your vote (like self post-delete)
(b) it is only available when you can see the results before voting or you can't see the results until you waive your ability to repick

Or if it is available when you can't see replies (and perhaps the poll is ambiguous). ;o

There's a problem with clearing your vote and showing what users voted for what simply because of how polls are stored. I wanted to implement both (as optional).
Simple polls wouldn't be that much of a problem, but polls with multiple answers, weights, etc get a lot more complicated.

The most it should do is just ask for confirmation before it actually submits. Something like "You have voted for X. Are you sure you want to do this?" And then have a yes or no thing.

Please no. That would annoy the shit out of me.

Make it ask for confirmation by default, but have an option to disable it in the settings.
