Hey guys, I noticed there are lots of topics related on serious things, and i asked myself: Is it only me that is immature or is StarCraft mapping an adult pastime...?
Seriously, when i go take a look in the serious discussion, I feel like surrounded by adults... I want to know because i always thought the older players and mappers were around 16-18. When i think about it, I may have spoken about childish things with an adult???

It used to be 16-30 years olds, but now its 12 to 26 years olds. I'm 18. And just because people talk about mature things and serious life things, doesn't mean they are adults. Everyone has a voice and the right to discuss. The majority right now is age 18 because people grew as the website grew older.

Yea i know that not only adults talk about mature things, i am just saying i do not talk about theese serious matters and i am 15, i want to know if i am the only one around sen that is not fully mature... plus, i am curious about knowing how old is the community!

No, when you go to Serious Discussion you're surrounded by a bunch of 13 and younger idiots who are trying to sound smart.

There is a lot of trolls who spam and flames here who are 16 and under. Some even around the age of 18. But no, there are other non trolls who are your ages that don't talk about "mature" discussions.

Isn't there already a topic in the Null that asked the age of SENers?

Maybe it was actually asking the year they were born in. All the same nonetheless.

Starcraft was released March 31st, 1998. I was in 8th Grade at the time. I first heard about it from a kid in math class who brought in the manual, and was telling people about the "Zerg".

Shit, I was 13 when it came out. I didn't have a copy til I was 14 though.

Started mapping at 12, and hacking at 12.
Stopped hacking at 13 and joined maplantis.
And now I'm here.

Being 12 is the epic.
First Starting StarCraft at 3.
Started Mapping at 8.
Quit Mapping at 9.
Started Hacking at 9.
Quick Hacking at 999999999999.
Start Mapping again at 10 and Joined SEN.
Found out about Maplantis at 11.
And now I think I'm here, not exactly sure.

People here are a lot younger then I thought... I figured I was one of the youngest members here.
