i have a pretty good mike attached to my laptop too.(big waste) i dont even know how to get on a server and my voice isnt the best either. neither is my playing. so many things wrong for me.

First you dl the client, click connection, then type in the IP address where it asks you to, I can help you when you get on.
And I have one of the lowest codecs on for my friends, one who happens to be on dial up, but it is suprisingly clear.
