Started in the old SEN, I decided to continue it. Post up the best moments you've ever had in a FPS.

I can't really remember any really cool times in particular, but one time I was playing Halo 1 for PC online in a Blood Gulch CTF. There were several scorpions, several banshees, and unlimited grenades. It was a total battle field with both teams trying to keep and hold the scorpions. I, myself, just stayed at the base with a sniper rifle and took out enemy banshees :D . It was a great game.

While playing Half Life 2, chapter ''Follow Freeman.'' In the ending Nexus battle (with the Striders). I was hiding in a ''bunker'' and taking my RPG ,looked out. The sight was quite an interesting one, as a APC flied just over my head and crashed into the ground behind me. And the coolest thing was, That was NOT scripted. It was a full usage of the Source physics system. :D
I used 13 minerals for THIS!?

When I got challenged in GoldenEye 64 by one of my class mates in 6:th grade. We played Temple with pistols and I slaughtered him and won with 10 against 0, I totally rocked at that game.

Counterstrike. Opponent has pistol, no primary. I has MP5.

I'm about to get schooled, so I thrwo my MP5 at the guy. He picks it up, autoswitches, and while he's doing that I headshot him with the DE.

If I had to choose a "best" FPS moment, it would have to be Halo1 for PC. I played in a CTF game with the game ending when one team got 10 captures on Blood Gulch. We had no shields and only 50% health. The only weapons we had were the sniper rifle and pistol (I miss that pistol!) . At any one time you could see the trails from 3 or 4 sniper rifles on the map. After playing in the same server for about 2 hours, our team finally got a 10th flag capture. By the end of the game, I had gotten around 682 kills!

PREY

Native American-themed FPS, May have mostly action during course of the game, But has one of most jaw dropping open sequences I've seen.

Tommy, the game's protagonist, starts out in a bar trying to convince his girlfriend to leave their reservation and move away to the city. Cue the sounds of Blue Öyster Cult's (Don't Fear) the Reaper ", minus the cowbell, playing on the bar's jukebox. The BÖC rock away while alien saucers tear the roof off the bar, shine in their green tractor beams, and adbuct everyone insight. Very creepy if you ask me but cool.

I had lots playing halo 2 back in the day. I played quite a few games recently with my gf's brother. So we were playing SWAT CTF on elongation (whatever that warehouse map is) and I was running to the base with the flag. He was guarding the base. I got killed while jumping and the flag bounces way across the map, practically in his arms. I dunno, we found it absolutely hilarious.

Forums are DONE. Well, done as in I'm leaving the area to do other things.
LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. After awhile, I'll generally leave the area alone and not do any work on it until I revisit.
Currently working on: DLDB tools for the DLDB managers. Probably the DLDB in general as well.
Next in line: Message center, Mod night, Wiki

I've been playing BioShock a lot recently, and pretty much any moment with the Little Sisters/Big Daddies is amazing to see, the interactions between them are just amazing.

One such example: I had saved all the Little Sisters on a certain map, and later, as I was exploring I came across a Big Daddy. The Daddy went over to one of the vents where the Little Sisters emerge and started banging on it. When no Sister came out, he moaned, slumped his shoulders and shuffled off, looking clearly disappointed and sad (and for a diving suit-wearing leviathan, that's difficult).

The execution of that moment was just so well done and emotive, I felt really bad... :(

I was sniping in CS: Source with a scout, and I saw a body get blown by a grenade that does a complete, probably 30 foot cartwheel right across my scope about 150 feet away.

Halo 2 first mission (cairo station) I threw a plasma gernade at an elite and it got stuck to the groin area. I was also able to do it online Multiplayer in Halo PC.

CSS dust (the one where the T's started on the bottum of the map) I was the last person on my team and I only had a shotty (the regular not auto) and I jumped over through this part in the wall of B and killed 2-3 T's in a short amount of time.
