Few people know of Liberation, it's a 1999 campaign made by J.D and DarkStorm and is one of the first samods campaigns ever made.
The biggest problem with the campaign was the early-beta state the campaign was in when released with bugs and bad designs crippling enjoyment.
I've made a patch to resolve the most glaring issues and the campaign should be fully playable from start to end and somewhat enjoyable too, especially for beginners.

You ask that like as if I'm going around fixing everything. That is not the case. I'm only going to be doing it with a very small amount of campaigns, specifically the ones that are good and close to being recommendable but held back by very specific serious issues that are easily identified and fixed in a couple of hours. Ascension of Duran, Gas, and Liberation fit the bill.
In fact, unless I find a campaign like this in tier A (very unlikely since the presence of voice acting prevents me from making changes that could affect the dialogue) you're most likely only going to see three more release threads from me in the future. One for a empire wars fix, another for my release of the resurgence sequel I made back in 2004 if I deem it worth releasing, and maybe a third one for a fixed version of the Votf4 1.16.1 mod since no one ever bothered to graft the missing button sets to the custom units even though this can be easily done in about 5 minutes with firegraft. (thanks to your help

Yes, but you might have noticed the trend. Enslavers SE, Mercenaries 2020, now this and you're planning to do more. So what's up with that?
I didn't do those. This is my first release thread. You are confusing me with other people.
In fact I have never heard of Mercenaries until you mentioned it, have you got a link to that? I would love to have a new campaign to play.
Edit: Oh I see, Mercenaries is just a single map. laaaame.

So your revising Liberation Custom Campaign? That's very nice. I remember playing the first Mercenaries map around eight years ago and it's totally easier with three players fighting together.

In my case it was that I enjoyed the concept of the original Mercenaries map and had fun playing with friends, but found the limited mercenary options and low difficulty hindered its replay value. I was interested in working on a small project that didn't take a huge amount of effort as a jump off point for playing with mapping again while my work is closed during the pandemic.

Sorry, I guess?

Level Design Workshop ''Go to hell'' is basic. ''I hope your favorite StarCraft character gets voiced by Pr0nogo'' is smart. It's possible. It's terrifying.
Those campaigns are already preserved in the internet, remaking them under SC2 standarts is a different thing entirely.
Oh this isn't a remake. I just fixed the bugs/unfinished stuff that made it impossible to recommend this campaign. Now it's acceptable for a conditional recommendation at least. By the way, plans have changed. I'm no longer doing an empire wars fix. Instead a remastered version of the damnUfo0 campaigns will be released very soon. The scope of the visions of the future fix has been enlargened and that campaign will be fixed as I play through it.
