Gallant: A 17 year old engineering student. He is dual enrolled; attending college, while still taking a few high school classes. Gallant is a very serious person, always bettering himself in both Mind and Body). He's the kind of person who plays sports for the benefit of exercise, not because he enjoys it. He's currently learning Navajo, simply because it will probably improve his ability to multitask. His parents are both very supportive, whether it's pushing him to succeed on the track team, or nurturing his growing genius.

It would seem like the sky is the limit for our gifted little Gallant. Unfortunately, an enormous obstacle to this is Goofus, his younger brother.

Goofus: A 15 year old party animal. He's failing all of his 10th-grade classes. His two favorite things are: 1) Getting into trouble, and 2) hurting himself. Combining these two things sends Goofus into a state of pure bliss. When he isn't doing drugs, you can probably catch him filming his next jackass audition tape. But if anything too serious happened to Goofus, Gallant would not be able to live with himself (DEFEAT)




"Did you find it?!"
"No."
"Then why did you stop?!"
You don't respond. You just stare into your brother's crazy eyes. He wasn't always like this. He wasn't the greatest kid ever, but he was far from this.
"I don't even know what we're digging for."
That was half true. You know why you are digging; digging is safe. You'd pick this over drugs, or carrying his broken body home after a stunt, any day.
"It's metal. That's all you need to know, NOW DIG!" His face twitches "CHU!"
You finish up your pitty stare and go back to digging. At least you're getting your exercise in for the day.

It says it's retard proof, but are we playing as Gallant or Goofus? Do we get to choose who we're playing as or do we play them simultaneously? I guess we're Goofus guy because of the drug reference?

I think we're playing as Gallant. In which case, try to remember why you're digging a hole. If you can't remember, ask your brother.

GRAB THE SHOVEL AND BRAIN YOURSELF WITH IT.

The hole you're digging is about 3 feet deep now, but much wider as it can comfortably fit both you and your brother. It's getting harder to see what you're doing, so you check your pockets for your cell phone. Nope, you must have left it at home. All you have are 3 band-aids, some first aid spray, $34.00, a pocket knife, and 2 museum entrance tickets. Goofus notices your pause in digging.
"You found it, didn't you!"
"It's getting late, let's go back."
"No!"
"Then how about you tell me what this 'metal' thing is we're looking for."
"NO!"
He tenses up and holds his shovel high above his head. You instinctively ready yours like a shovel/sword fight is about to go down. It wouldn't be the weirdest thing you'd have gotten into with him. Surprisingly, but not too surprisingly, he brings the shovel down upon his head. He falls to the ground but still holds firm to his shovel. He goes to finish himself off, but you manage to grave the shovel from him at the last second. He faints with a smile and a bleeding head wound.
He's gonna be heavy.

No, we shouldn't go to a burger place. Ground beef has lots of saturated fat, which isn't great for muscle growth. We should visit the local natural foods store (the more hipsters in the aisles, the better) and buy some nuts . Perhaps we can convince our parents to buy more fish and lean meat.

Beef is fine as long as you get a good cut of beef, which a burger place probably will not have.

While you are there you should stock up on your cleansers and probiotics! You don't want to be poisoning your body with all the toxins and fungal parasites that you have!

Kneeling down over Goofus, you spray the first aid spray before slapping on 1 of your 3 bandaids. Just as you're getting ready to pick him up in a fireman's carry, something shiny sticking out of the ground catches your eye. Picking it up and examining it, it appears to be a simple arrowhead but is strangely hot to the touch. Without the time to dwell on all the sense that doesn't make, you drop it into your pocket and start carrying your brother's unconscious body out of the shallow forest he dragged you into. It's a few miles from your parent's home, but there's an old strip mall nearby, and you're hoping to grab something good to eat on the trip back.

Getting close to the rundown shopping center, the smell of grease and beef permeates your nostrils. It's enough to cause Goofus to stir.
"Mmmmmmmmmmm"
"Think you can walk?"
"Mmmmmmm-hmmmmmm"
Gently, you let him down off your shoulders. He finds his footing and staggers toward an odorous Burger King with one hand scratching his head. You try to stay away from fast food and have your eye on the Indian health food store on the corner. Just as you're about to reel Goofus in, a busty pink-haired girl in a BK uniform bounces over to you two.

"Goofy baby!"
His girlfriend wraps her arms around him. She sees his head.
"Aw! Goofy got a booboo? Momma will make it better. How 'bout a burger?"
"Mmmmmmmmmm"
Heather takes him by the hand and leads him to the burger joint. You let your guard down; Heather's pretty good at taking care of him - to the point that you think she gets off on it.

A familiar soothing chime echoes at your opening of the door. A strong but pleasant smell of earth and water fills your nostrils and nips at your soul. You're as white as they come, but something about this store has always felt like home. The shelves are a mix of industrial supplements and holistic herbs. A curious mix of science and spirituality. You rip open a nearby Cliff Protein Bar.
"You're paying for that."
A young, trim, dark, Native girl glares at you with green eyes from over the counter.
You dig into your pocket for a few bucks and brush up against the metal object from earlier. A tinge of anger pricks at your brain.
"Duh"
You take another bite, drop two dollars on the counter, and continue your stroll through the store. You're always on the lookout for some new performance enhancer or herbal hocus pocus. You hear a huff as she clicks-open the register.
"So where's Granny? Who are you?"
Maybe doing a few pushups will show her who's boss around here.

Apologize for your disrespect, mentioning how you've had a rough day with your brother's antics. Tell Abeytu that your brother, Goofus, injured himself terribly, and you had to carry him back to town all by yourself.
