I just found out a broken game mechanic that enchanting destruction magic can make magika cost go down to 0%.
This was when I invested about 500+ in magika...
What? Did you think 40% + 30% + 30% reduced Destruction costs would equal greater than 1%?
Also, let the Skyrim modding
begin.

Usually games put a cap on stats like that.

Skyrim isn't one of your 'usual games'.

I have to say that you can get some... interesting results when playing around with alchemy

Bought a house in Solitude. It's pretty much the size of Whiterun.
Also, I'd advise against becoming a vampire to anyone interested. If you go a certain time without feeding, you become a "Blood-Starved Vampire" and everyone attacks you on sight. And, Bethesda didn't include a vampiric menstrual calendar so it's excruciatingly hard to know when you're suddenly going to be butchered by the town. The way to combat this is to feed at least every two days. But then your vampire skills remain at 'level 1', which is shit because then your "being a vampire" experience consists of a Novice destruction spell and +25% resistance to Frost.

Found probably the hardest and longest dungeon quest so far. Top left area of the map you'll find "shrine of peryite" or something like that. If you want more specific directions...
Start in the topleftmost town. Go east until you hit a river. Go north until you get in range of shrine. Go to shrine. The quest requires like... A flawless ruby, deathbloom flower, silver (?) Ingot, and like one other thing.
When you first fight one, you will laugh. Left for dead in skyrim?
Also, my favorite potion is probably Ravage health AND damage health in one potion. I hope I can somehow fit weakness to poison.

I only use alchemy to make potions of Fortify enchanting and fortify smithing. I then use my fortified enchanting to make Amulet, Ring, Bracers and Armour that give me a bonus to alchemy. I then repeat this and enchant another set of armour to give me improved smithing, and another one to give me improved enchanting. This is the only way in the game to make the strongest weapons and armour

I was planning on doing this, but I'm not sure if I can be arsed.
I'm playing it on Master difficulty. As a heavy armoured vampire conjurer.... Not the easiest

I walk towards some ruins.
See a hostile villager.
I ready my weapon and get ready to charge.
He stops and vomits green shit all over me.
DA FUCK?
Boomer bile all over the place.

... I love you
@Ezterix Go to the shrine of peryite to the southeast of that location for the quest of that ruins!

I just started a Breton summoner with one hands and light armour. It's been fairly challenging so far. Need to get something more powerful than the familiar you start with. I did the quest to get Savior's Hide as soon as possible, so now I have 40% magic resistance
I also earned over a level by pickpocketing a rich couple on their way to Solitude.

Wow. Any idea how old this image is?
@Zycorax: I'm running a one-handed, heavy armour, conjuration vampire-Breton now. Bloody hard
. Please tell me you're playing it on Master difficulty?

naw, normal. I get frustrated enough while playing multiplayer games, don't need that in singleplayer as well.
I've noticed that certain alchemy items are more effective than others.
For example: (in collapse box incase you don't wanna have like three items spoiled as to what their effects are ;o)
Awesome poison
river betty does like 2.5x as much for "Damage health" than any other item. Combine this with a skeever tail and jazberries and you get ravage health AND damage health. It's like 26+11 damage, ridiculously awesome :D... Most damage health items add like 10, not 26

I can't wait for a mod that allows custom spells and more alchemy and enchanting. As good as Skyrim is, I feel it to be slightly lacking in these areas. And durrr Tikels. You've obviously never combined a Human Heart, a Falmer Ear and Hanging Moss have you?
Frenzy is by far the best alchemy affect, next to Paralysis.
