Jack -- it's taken a bunch of things from functional languages but it doesn't really sound like a proper functional language
[2015-4-13. : 4:00 am]
Jack -- no but functional languages to be functional must have no sideeffects within a function, but imperative you pretty much have to have sideffects to be able to do anything
[2015-4-13. : 4:00 am]
Dem0n -- I don't know which usage is functional and which is imperative, though, so I can't really explain it to you lel
[2015-4-13. : 4:00 am]
Dem0n -- It depends on how you use it, Jack.
[2015-4-13. : 3:59 am]
Dem0n -- Moose, you ever go to sleep knowing that you're completely fucked for the next day? I do it every night.
[2015-4-13. : 3:59 am]
Jack -- how can CAML claim to be both functional and imperative
[2015-4-13. : 3:50 am]
Roy -- Or run the JS through the console instead of pasting it in the URL.
[2015-4-13. : 3:50 am]
Roy -- Apos
Apos shouted: The current problem though is that with Firefox, the page gets reloaded when I input Javascript and it seems to not run on the reloaded page
You could just turn it into a userscript.
[2015-4-13. : 3:33 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- :P
[2015-4-13. : 3:11 am]
Moose -- Ohhhhh, blocking I495 and sieging Washington DC, plus killing cops, yeah, I think Guerilla Radio, but still no bad choice.
[2015-4-13. : 3:09 am]
Moose -- Actually, there probably isn't a bad Rage song for the Young Republican's meeting. :P
[2015-4-13. : 3:08 am]
Moose -- Actually, Guerilla Radio is pretty good, too. About rigged elections and rigged trials.
[2015-4-13. : 3:08 am]
Moose -- I AM THE NINA, THE PINTA, THE SANTA MARIA, THE NOOSE AND THE RAPIST, THE FIELD'S OVERSEER, THE AGENTS OF ORANGE, THE PRIEST OF HIROSHIMA, THE COST OF MY DESIRE, SLEEP NOW IN THE FIRE
[2015-4-13. : 3:06 am]
Moose -- Actually, Sleep Now in the Fire is probably the best Rage song for the Young Republican's meeting.
[2015-4-13. : 2:59 am]
Dem0n -- Help me, Mini Moose; you're my only hope!
[2015-4-13. : 2:57 am]
Moose -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: Mini Moose 2707 What do you think is the best Rage song to jam out to at a Young Republican's meeting?
Bring that shit in!
[2015-4-13. : 2:57 am]
Moose -- The complacent students sit and listen to some of that bullshit that he learned in school.
[2015-4-13. : 2:57 am]
Moose -- His composure is well-kept. I guess he fears playing the fool.
[2015-4-13. : 2:57 am]
Moose -- The student's eyes don't perceive the lies bouncing off every fucking wall.
[2015-4-13. : 2:57 am]
Moose -- The teacher stands in front of the class. But the lesson plan he can't recall.
[2015-4-13. : 2:10 am]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: LIGHTS OUT! GUERILLA RADIO! TURN THAT SHIT UP!
What do you think is the best Rage song to jam out to at a Young Republican's meeting?
[2015-4-13. : 1:28 am]
Moose -- No, she just keeps talking about a cat as if she has one. Just let her go on, it's easier that way.
[2015-4-13. : 12:00 am]
Dem0n -- You have a cat?
[2015-4-12. : 11:53 pm]
Fire_Kame -- kitty is feeling better. :3 so probably is not a scary thing like liver failure or cancer
[2015-4-12. : 11:07 pm]
lil-Inferno -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Moose: http://imgur.com/gallery/gcQkSAO Title.
Man, if I was a little bit taller I'd have conquered the world by now ;-;
[2015-4-12. : 11:05 pm]
Devourer -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: It's also pretty common among humans to interfere with other people's business. Ask my flatmate.
yeah I know. Sadly.
[2015-4-12. : 11:01 pm]
NudeRaider -- It's also pretty common among humans to interfere with other people's business. Ask my flatmate.
[2015-4-12. : 11:00 pm]
NudeRaider -- Devourer
Devourer shouted: Isn't it weird that those male people, who dislike homosexual male members of the society, are basically caring (or worried about) what other men are doing with their penises? Oh boy...
It is.
[2015-4-12. : 10:59 pm]
NudeRaider -- Moose: http://imgur.com/gallery/gcQkSAO Title.

Mini Moose 2707 shouted: https://youtu.be/8qwDBgNMD7c I have a new standard for voting in 2016
Moose gets it.
[2015-4-12. : 9:44 pm]
Apos -- But I assume that's some security stuff
[2015-4-12. : 9:43 pm]
Apos -- The current problem though is that with Firefox, the page gets reloaded when I input Javascript and it seems to not run on the reloaded page
[2015-4-12. : 9:42 pm]
Apos -- I'm currently making a better version so that it will fit the page
[2015-4-12. : 9:16 pm]
Moose -- https://youtu.be/8qwDBgNMD7c I have a new standard for voting in 2016
[2015-4-12. : 9:13 pm]
A_of-s_t -- whats going on in here
[2015-4-12. : 9:12 pm]
Fire_Kame -- tag that or something jerk
[2015-4-12. : 9:12 pm]
Fire_Kame -- omg

Fire_Kame -- someone go get me a coffee
[2015-4-12. : 9:07 pm]
Fire_Kame -- I want coffee
[2015-4-12. : 8:59 pm]
Roy -- Does that script not do what you need it to, Apos?
[2015-4-12. : 8:58 pm]
Apos -- lol
[2015-4-12. : 8:53 pm]
Roy -- CoffeScript is a myth: you have to type a script, so ultimately you end up with TypeScript.
[2015-4-12. : 8:51 pm]
Moose -- Nah, that's CoffeeScript
[2015-4-12. : 8:49 pm]
jjf28 -- probably a script written in coffee
[2015-4-12. : 8:46 pm]
Fire_Kame -- What is a javascript? Is that a type of coffee?
[2015-4-12. : 8:46 pm]
Fire_Kame -- Yaaayy! I'm part of the group!
[2015-4-12. : 8:45 pm]
Fire_Kame -- everyone else who had gone in for office hours had done barely any of their homework before going in. I think he was just pissed off.
[2015-4-12. : 8:45 pm]
Roy -- Everyone's in Apos's topic.
[2015-4-12. : 8:45 pm]
Moose -- "the answer is C" "why?" "IF YOU HAVE TO ASK, YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND, BEGONE!"
[2015-4-12. : 8:44 pm]
Fire_Kame -- my PM teacher also taught from a script :awesome: so forget getting clarification during lectures
[2015-4-12. : 8:43 pm]
Fire_Kame -- I dunno, he was a pretty awful professor.
[2015-4-12. : 8:43 pm]
Fire_Kame -- though the hardest tests I ever took was in my project management class. I think they were modified off the certification test...anyways, the test built upon itself. So if you got one question wrong on the test the rest of it would most likely be wrong too
[2015-4-12. : 8:43 pm]
Moose -- judgmental or lazy*
[2015-4-12. : 8:43 pm]
Moose -- Not sure if judgmental or stupid or both
[2015-4-12. : 8:42 pm]
Fire_Kame -- I went into a math prof's office hours for help and he said 'the answer is C.' 'why?' 'Because that's the largest number. Just put down C.' ...
[2015-4-12. : 8:40 pm]
Moose -- Or my favorites, the professors who would give so much homework that was so difficult, you could visit during their office hours or ask in class and they couldn't do it themselves
[2015-4-12. : 8:36 pm]
Fire_Kame -- but in all seriousness...different profs grade differently. I had a science teacher where if you showed up for class every day you'd take a 10 pt test on that day's lecture. If you didn't show up, you have to take a much harder exam to make up the points. Or a prof that was an online class, where it was either an average of your test grades *or* if you chose to participate in the online discussions, and it would increase your grade to factor it in, you could get a boost to your grade.
[2015-4-12. : 8:35 pm]
Moose -- Fire_Kame
Fire_Kame shouted: what type of gross math class are you taking where you need at least a 40% to pass and you still can't fucking do it.
Firekt_Kame
[2015-4-12. : 8:35 pm]
Dem0n -- Introduction to Algorithms.
[2015-4-12. : 8:34 pm]
Fire_Kame -- what type of gross math class are you taking where you need at least a 40% to pass and you still can't fucking do it.
[2015-4-12. : 8:32 pm]
Dem0n -- what kind of gross math class are you taking where it takes 25 pages to complete the homework
[2015-4-12. : 8:29 pm]
Fire_Kame -- are you going to use it otherwise/
[2015-4-12. : 8:29 pm]
Fire_Kame -- I would, I mean you only have another month of the semester left right?
[2015-4-12. : 8:24 pm]
Zoan -- Should I use that get-out-of-homework-free card now*, or shouldn't I?
[2015-4-12. : 8:24 pm]
Zoan -- My math class drops a homework assignment. Should I use that get-out-of-homework-free card, or shouldn't I? If I were to do the homework, which is due tomorrow, it would take up ~25 pages (the last one did).
[2015-4-12. : 8:20 pm]
Dem0n -- I guess it's supposed to be an introduction to functional programming
