No it wasnt...I'm quite ashamed of what I was back then (for reasons unknown I used to find it amusing to tell on people, now I regret what I can hardly remember).

Only thing about HS I'm particularly worried about is gays in the showers.

.. Huh. My school only has showers before/after swimgym, and you wear your swimsuit for that. Yours is different? :wtfage: Well, I'm sure the gays in your class will have a tough time hiding it, and don't worry - I'm sure they won't judge you too harshly. Cruel jest, yes, but funny.

Yeah, going into the HS I do (Stuyvesant FTW. In two years, I've seen or heard of one damn fight. Heard other high schools are horrid.), I'd say that social life isn't at all a problem, because even if you have none (I DO have some. Believe it.), no one cares. It's not as interesting, but nothing bad happens. Though, I'm dreading some of the stuff I need to go to college. I'm in Junior year, and my day is cramped enough already - with six hours of sleep a night, I get roughly three hours of free time per 24 hours, and I need community service. Egh. And, apparently, some independent research project to improve colleges. And I need to bring up my SATII average to 750+ - I got 740 on both chemistry and physics, which actually count as one, so... yeah. Need to study for that. And AP's. I think my AP World History scores came in while I was in Russia, but... Me dun' no.

The biggest problem with high school is the excessive academic stuff you do. The social part's easy. The gym classes, while more intensive than in middle school (Jumping Jacks ftw. We actually still do those.. >:( ), are certainly your smallest problem.

Elementary school, as far as I remember, was a time when life was easy as hell but looked hard. Ah, if only I had the perspective to see things that way. Alas, my strongest memory is buying a guide on making paper airplanes at a book fair at school :P.

=/ we don't have Swimgym.

And seriously...atm in middle school our gym teacher makes us run 4 laps around the grounds (1 lap would be around 400-450 meters). And if anyone's wondering, our school is rural, that goes from K-8...so I think it's appropriately sized.

When I was in 10th grade, my aunt got me my own place to live in New Jersey if I went to New Jersey for school (They thought NJ education was superior). I had a bad experience because everything was so open. Open showers, people changing infront of everyone in lockers, wearing really short pants as a requirement for gym class, and things like that. The only thing I liked was playing actual football, I enjoyed tackling people and fondling their pp until they notice and get up.

I wish I could go back to elementary school with the knowledge I have now.

From my memory elementary school was the best time of my life - for some reason the being-scaredness of, ya know, the first day of school that I don't have any more seems like it was an amazing feeling; I wish I could have that feeling again. Sigh.

Middle School just plain sucks, mostly due to douchebaggery and hormones.

High School is a huge step up, since you actually get to take classes you want to take, you have quite a bit more freedom, making it much easier to skip/eat lunch wherever you want/actually take challenging courses. I went to an IB school which had a tech wing, so I got to take both of those. Three years of electronics really made college circuits simple. CET was bs, though. I ended up loading Worm World Party onto the server so that everyone could play it over the LAN, and we just did that all class.

Elementary School was awesome, because you can only remember the cool parts, and the stupid parts you've forgotten about. Plus, it's always nice to go back and see your teachers and make them feel really old.

College, while mostly a waste of time, is quite nice. You actually get to enjoy the majority of your classes, and you can finally not give a damn about your grades, since they don't matter anymore. Keep in mind that classes teach you much more than you need to know, and don't teach you about a quarter of what you need to know.

Once I get into actually doing my job, I'll be doing the same thing as college, but much less broad, and I'll be getting paid to do it.

LOL. Someone else did the exact same thing in our CET. Same game and everything. Unfortunately our old CET/Networking teacher got fired, but I think the new guy is much the same as the old.

This is my third year is high school, while it's not very fun it's fairly easy. And I love the freedom. If I decide I want to go home, I can, although I will have to deal with some shit later. I also love the additional freedom over our schedules. You don't see it much freshman year, but each year you have more freedom to take more electives and less required classes, if you've been on top of the game and already been doing well in your required classes.

I have physical conditioning, it's pretty awesome. Last year, if you didn't take a shower you got graded down, but luckily it changed this year.

Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps > Physical Education.

Why? Because PE is way too easy. Including swimming. And for the competition, my School always win... on anything.
