Who's 'gusy'? :P

But yeah, it's nice.

One question though: You have this big thing about 'supply' in the Terran Barracks explanation. Wtf is supply? :0_o:

Gusy = guys :bleh:

thx.

Well, if you create 1 defiler then your supply goes up 2, right? For every barracks you have, a defiler is created, thus making the supply go up 2 per barracks. What this map does is take that supply and act like it's part of the cost of the medic. If you create a medic and you don't have enough supplies (a.k.a burrowed defilers in a remote region of the map) then you get an error message. If you create a medic and you do have enough supplies, then your special goes off and 25 defilers die thus 50 supplies are taken away.

Got it?

Maybe he's confused when you say Defilers make your supply go up. If that is the case, he means that the Control cost of a Defiler is 2, so the amount of Control you are using goes up by 2.

EDIT: Woah, the Zerg building list needs to be re-done. Like Sunken Colony requires Spawning Pool, which translates into you need your feat before you can get weapons.

I figured I'd rig it so that if you have a Hatchery then you can build all of the units (up to hydralisk den and Lair), if you have a Hatchery then you can build the Spire and the Queen's nest (but this is an exception in that you need to build a Queen's Nest in order to build the Hive) and if you have a Hive then you can build anything.

That's a good idea, right?

I assume you mean "if you have a Lair". Or am I stupid?

Yah, sounds like a good idea.

Sounds like an overabundance of complexity for something as simple as a special...Why not just have it slowly recharge automatically?

What he's doing is using the number to the right of Control as an "energy gauge", like some maps use Vespane. The bar only charges when you have Barracks because you need a Barracks to use the special. The recharge rate is based on the number of Barracks you have because one of the things you can do in this map is mess around with your ship's capabilities.

Oh I'm stupid, I had misread it. I thought you had to build something from the barracks to create defilers.

Yes Kyleis1337 lost interest and won't be a big part of the map anymore :( :sadangel: :weep:

Tassadar decided to take his place and be my partner in the map though! :yahoo:

Well, I can't help either. My dad took apart my upstairs computer, and I can't install StarCraft on my downstairs one. So I can't help now.... I am really sorry about this madroc.

NOOOOOOO!!!!! Suckness. Well I'll see if I can't get someone else to help me... If not then I don't think I can take on the project on my own at least not right now. Thanks for your help so far; I know you can't really help it if your dad took apart your upstairs computer... :( Well if you ever get a better computer tell me and then we can continue! :)

I know this is really steep, but would anyone like to do all or most of the triggers for this map? I direct you with "assignments" as Tazz and Kyle know... I would help out more with the triggers, but with school I think all I can take on is the terrain. This way it would be a half and half effort (I know terrain is a lot easier but really I have done a LOT of hard work with concepting and such.)

Alternatively, if someone wanted to do the terrain, I think I might be able to take on the trigger part but it would take a very long time what with school. I don't think I'd want to take on both. I'd just ask for the terrain to be very simple with little or no extended terrain.

Would anyone like to help me on this, trigger or terrain wise? :D

You said that you weren't able to contribute to the map all that much because of school and based on how little you said you would be willing to contribute I DEFINITELY need a partner. Not to mention you said that you wanted more than a month per assignment and that you said you DIDN'T want to do that assignment...

So basically I'm still looking for a partner and you will be there for backup in case that partner is out of town, can't do it for some reason, etc. Makes sense?

I'm up for a go at it.

I will get at least one assignment done; I can guarantee you that. I'll see if I get bored after that and want to do more, though.

Do you have MSN messenger? My address is impeachedbard@hotmail.com.

Hey I'm glad you're interested, give it a shot.

I sort of half-completed an assignment last weekend; I'll try to complete it this weekend and e-mail you the assignment.

My MSN is skyjackson@hotmail.com, I'll add you.

No, not yet. I really don't go on MSN that often :D I'll do it right now.
