The sword and the faith

Ok so,
I have a NetGear WPN824v2. I had the ports forwarded properly but I had to change the routers IP and spoof the mac address due to a bnet ban for trying to use bad D2 keys about 100 times in a row.
I went to PortForward.com and followed their instructions to forward the ports again, however it isnt working. When forwarding ports it says that the server IP cannot be the router IP. So effectively I cant seem to forward the ports on the router but I made it work before somehow.
Router IP: 192.168.1.3
DMZ Server IP: 192.168.1.2 (Where the ports are currently forwarded since I cannot forward them on the routers IP of 192.168.1.3. Figured it was a good a try as any.)
Router as DHCP Server Range: 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.2

Halp?

You need to forward them on the router ip for it to work.
Why is it you cannot forward the router ip?

None.

When forwarding IPs to the router IP it gives the error 'Server IP cannot be router IP.'

Does your computer have a static IP? That should be what the ports are forwarded to.

Changing your router's internal IP (192.168.1.x) will not do anything to avoid bans by an external server.

None.

It does, but the ports can only be forwarded to 192.168.x.x according to the router. I forwarded them to my computers specific network IP but that didnt work either.

It's always 192.168.x.y. And you have to forward them to your static IP, otherwise it is useless.
Like one of my computers is 192.168.2.166 and one is 192.168.2.163.

I don't have mine forwarded to a static and it works just fine...
You only have to forward to a static if your isp changes your IP every day or something.

Anyways @ Excalibur
Maybe unplugging and replugging in your router then redo the spoofing and port forwarding all over.Sometimes a router likes to through fits =/.You could also check for firmware updates(ofcourse this probably wouldn't fix anything unless you have vista).

ISP has nothing to do with an internal IP within a network. Every time you connect to the router you are assigned an IP. If you do not have a static IP, it may or may not be different every time you connect to your router.

That may be true, but at first you were sounding like a dynamic ip changes every x hours/days/whenever when with some ISP's or whatever it does not.
I know mine only does when I unplug then replug it in.

"Static ip" is referring to the local ip in this case, so your ISP doesn't matter.
