Restated:

lil-mo
Red2Blue
Pyro682 - On but not often

greg985 - Or some combination like that 985~/958~

This guy was my first friend on StarCraft back almost 2 years ago. He taught me some basic skills on the fastest melee maps, that I thought were the coolest thing back then.

Sadly, my computer obtained a virus, a different computer then now, around December of '07 and it would not let me get online. So he disappeared and his account was deleted. This was back in the days of "inil8r" and "xXxpwnzxXx". Even now, some of the people on my friends list are not on as much as they should be.

Some MOAR:

Kenoli - On b.net (StarCraft) rarely
Cosmo(U) - rarely
Rapper3k(U) - rarely
lil-blade - Don't remember last time he was on
ShadowRune - Don't remember last time he was on

-others-

Gone but not forgotten! :-( :(

Haha, nice.

I miss this guy named laserjet{ik} or something like that. He later changed his account name to Van_Halen I think, and I dunno if he's still around, but we fell out. That guy was from like 5 years ago O.o. There's lots of people like that for me, but you guys wouldn't recognize any of them, so I'll leave it at that.

No, I'm not sure when he quit, but if you look at his last activity, it's actaully pretty recent. But, I think his last post was in November or some such thing. Though, granted, I'm much too lazy to go back and look through everything.

Syphon (Who actually posted in this thread), Donwano, Demaris, Donwano, Dr. Shotgun, Voyager (HOW COULD THE GAREL BE GONE?!), PsychoTemplar, Rantent, I even dislike that WoodenFire is gone, even if he was an ass he was still talented, and we eventually came to a sort of cold peace (the word I wanted to say didn't come to mind), we weren't really friends but we could talk and exchange some terrain ideas a bit, for the most part our differences in philosophy kept us on our own projects.

This is gonna sound mean to some ears, but there was this clique of "old-school" SEN members that:
Didn't generally map
Didn't participate in the mapping community
Thought they were better than all of us (maybe they were, we're really all nerds)
And weren't on 80% of the time.

I don't really miss those kind of people, as they really looked down their noses are practically everyone who hadn't been on as long as they were, even if they had almost nothing to do with Starcraft anymore.

We keep making threads like these and acting like we're taking casualties everytime someone leaves, but to be honest: The community marches on. It may not be as active, it might have less personalities, but it marches on, and new people are getting interested, and our game is getting a sequel and a massive update to it's editor. We're probably going to be around when the last posts and maps and ideas those old members made get buried.

Now, with that off my chest, yes it is a less rich world every time we lose a regular, but don't just shit all over people just because they've only been here a year or so.

TheWarHam (Warhamma) was awesome. Pure awesome. He introduced me to Pulp Fiction before I even knew what it was. The guy played like a real douche, but that was how he rolled.

And Tuxedo Templar is one of the best mappers ever.

EVER.

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
