Syphon (Who actually posted in this thread), Donwano, Demaris, Donwano, Dr. Shotgun, Voyager (HOW COULD THE GAREL BE GONE?!), PsychoTemplar, Rantent, I even dislike that WoodenFire is gone, even if he was an ass he was still talented, and we eventually came to a sort of cold peace (the word I wanted to say didn't come to mind), we weren't really friends but we could talk and exchange some terrain ideas a bit, for the most part our differences in philosophy kept us on our own projects.
This is gonna sound mean to some ears, but there was this clique of "old-school" SEN members that:
Didn't generally map
Didn't participate in the mapping community
Thought they were better than all of us (maybe they were, we're really all nerds)
And weren't on 80% of the time.
I don't really miss those kind of people, as they really looked down their noses are practically everyone who hadn't been on as long as they were, even if they had almost nothing to do with Starcraft anymore.
We keep making threads like these and acting like we're taking casualties everytime someone leaves, but to be honest: The community marches on. It may not be as active, it might have less personalities, but it marches on, and new people are getting interested, and our game is getting a sequel and a massive update to it's editor. We're probably going to be around when the last posts and maps and ideas those old members made get buried.
Now, with that off my chest, yes it is a less rich world every time we lose a regular, but don't just shit all over people just because they've only been here a year or so.
