Exact Unit Size

I'm using some inverted locations, and I'm manually testing how small they need to be so that if the unit moves 1px, then is not detected (and snapped back).

So a corsair is minimum 48px wide by 33px high, and a ghost is 14px wide by 21px high etc.

Is there research on this already, or a program which tells you how big the units are? It would just save me tons of trial and error.

I'm pretty sure that you can go into Scmdraft 2 -> Debug -> Enable Debug. Then: Debug -> Show Unit Collision Size. This is the actual size of the units. You will just have to make a fake location over top of the units to find out there exact size in pixels.

You could also go into DatEdit and find the unit's exact size.

If you want only the sizes for just a small amount of units, open up SCMDraft 2, and then click the unit you want to check out the size and drag mouse out to middle of screen. Count the pixels in the box. The red/green lines are included in the unit's size. If youre looking for sizes of a ton of units, then i suggest not doing this, because counting pixels is slow, but if its for like 4 or 5 units, go for it. :D

...Or you could open DatEdit and look at the unit's exact size given to you as a number. No counting pixels necessary.

TheHappy115 -- Yea, thats the issue. Thanks. It would also explain why my deleted map couldn't get updated. Updated version reduced collision on units (only thing added) since was dodging game (players collide with each other)
