Bad patch is bad. Ryze didn't get any love imo, the CDR nerf on all items is gonnna do shit, and amumu did not need a buff at all. The only thing I like is anivia change because her pulse ult + spear throw did too much damage with that long of a range and that little of a mana cost. Plus she is now better late game because she can hold her ultimate up longer.

I'm actually really psyched to try the new Ryze. He was sort of a glass cannon before, so I guess now he'll be a glass machine gun? LOL I MAKKE A FUNNEH

New item looks terrible too. Pay less than 300 gold more and you can get deathfire grasp which gives slightly lower stats but an amazing active.

Sanguine Pool no longer grants a speed bonus on use
I don't know whether this was something they previously left in by mistake or forgot to ever mention it in the tooltip, but I noticed the speed bonus the first time I tried vlad and have thought that they should either at least mention that effect or remove it if it wasn't supposed to be there.

A hilarious game with jungle Nunu; ganks all over the place. Had most kills and assists as the tank.
btw, Veigar's items were probably a late-game change, because I don't recall having any difficulty damaging him with my spells.

Hey fellow LoL'ers
I've been doing some reconaissance
Can you guys list me some heroes that I absolutely not miss? I've been through a lot of those Spotlight Videos, and honestly a lot of abilities are variations of basic abilities... But there must be some heroes that are completely unique and special...
thanks

Alistar (unique abilities), blitzcrank (grabbing), heimerdinger (turrets), corki (spammable ulti), singed (completely unique abilities), or udyr (no ulti, constantly pressing buttons). Most heroes aren't unique at all. If you find yourself becoming a tryhard you could always buy mordekaiser because 1) all new players love him and 2) he rapes at low level games.

Maybe I've just been really lucky, but I've been in some good games as Mord where even in tank gear and unfed I can kill as well as the DPS. I'm also super aggressive as Mord, though, so perhaps that's why the other team doesn't really ignore me to go after other people.

Morde is an interesting hero. He has 0 tanking abilities (No cc, no taunt, and no initiating skill). His abilities have pretty low CDR, high base damage, but not a very good AP ratio. When you build him AP he gets focused down extremely fast every single team fight by a competent team. Build him tank and really all you can do is kill people who are extremely squishy. Building him tank relies on his base damage and late game when everyone has good items, that base damage isn't very good. He can be good when people just pick who they want to play and don't care about having a good team set up.
I think his new recommended items are good choices for him (IIRC). Sunfire for stats and damage, rylai's for some CC, and abysal sceptor if you have good casters on your team because morde tends to be in the middle of things during fights.

I guess I'm used to being alone against 3 or 4 people and having it take forever for them to kill me, so in that time I can take out people easily with my 3 abilities, and then ignite+ult.

I don't mind the Ryze nerf so far, although, I have only played him in a practice game since. He seems like he can do good damage still, just with a different build. I sense tank Ryze being a lot more viable now. Frozen Heart, Zhonya's Hourglass, Rod of Ages, Boots of Lucidity/Sorcerer's Shoes, Banshee's Veil, and Archangel's staff would make him pretty tanky, plus you get the passive mana bonus from your Ultimate. This would give him about 3.2k mana. Q would do an extra 320 damage, W would do an extra 160 damage, and E would still be trash, except for lowering resistance. With the Frozen Heart and Hourglass you would have a little over 200 armor, and the RoA and Banshee's would give you a little bit of HP for survivability. I'm gonna have to try this build
Edit: You could also substitute the Archangels for an Abyssal, or GA for a little bit more MR instead of the damage from the mana, and I would think that having to kill a Ryze twice while he is spamming his abilities constantly would be extremely annoying.

Cassiopeia is BY FAR the most underrated champion in the game. Maxing miasma (AoE DoT) first and having a lane partner with any type of good cc = COMPLETE lane domination. I've seen rammus taunt + her aoe get kills extremely fast on even the tankiest of characters. And most recently I saw her with trundle. The double slow from pillar of filth and her AoE made it impossible to escape and it deals insane damage early game. I imagine she would work very well with singed or especially morgana. I think she or trundle is gonna be my next buy.

Singed imo need merc treads. In team fights if he runs through all the stuns and shit straight towards the enemy carry and flings them back then that carry gets raped by all the aoe and shit in the middle of the fight. Almost no way to stop this.
