One thing that could be added is having a pop-up when you get a pm or notice... like in the old stormcoast-fortress...
It sometimes gets really annoying when i dont notice the little square at the top left until its too late.
Something I've been considering is a bar at the bottom of the page, anchored so it stays on-screen as you scroll. This bar would include, using mostly icons, the following statistics, links, etc.:
- PMs and notices (dynamically updated via AJAX)
- Notifications or timers for things like when the raffle or Magic Boxes reset
- Quick links to your settings, messages, other areas
- Time of last AJAX update
Basically, it'd be a bit like the notifications panel in the upper-left, but it would always be visible, and it would update dynamically via AJAX.
Problem is, Devourer would have to implement a lot more AJAX into the site -- AJAX to check for unread messages, obtaining their URLs and perhaps titles; AJAX to check for unread notices, obtaining their URLs and types (moderation, raffle victory, etc.); AJAX to retrieve the date of the next Raffle or Magic Boxes reset; etc..
Features like a "throbber" could be added: the PM/notice icons (or panel) would blink slowly and gently (like Windows XP's taskbar flashing, but less annoying) for a short time (5 seconds?) after page load.
It would be completely optional, of course.
Have I mentioned this idea before?

The "favorites" drop down box is glitched. It works fine when you use it the first time, but when you try to edit it to add more links, the original links are not there. The only thing that appears is "http". This makes it very annoying to use, as you'd have to have a list of your favorite sites to copy and paste into there each time.

Because many said that the store is totally bugged...
It is as it should be, there is nothing "horribly wrong".
Min cost: 50, max cost:150. Average: 100! Rly?! Ya!
This is all, nothing else. E.g. name color
1000-2000 average: 1500. (if these are correct values).
Stop crying about it.

Are you serious? Have you clicked on the store page?
Store page:
Shoutbox Colors
Enables the use of permanently selecting any color for the shoutbox.
Cost: 560
3 in stock
Compendium:
Shoutbox Colors
Enables the use of permanently selecting any color for the shoutbox.
Average cost: 275
Rarity: 50
Assuming 560 is max value, and 275 the average, the min value must be -10 minerals.
Obviously, something is bugged here. Please stop being so insistent that nothing is broken and
actually check the store page before dismissing everything.

Actually, there is a cost modifier which increases the price by X after calculating the price.
lets say, the modifier is 25, min price 50 and max 100
Price: 90 (random) + 25 -> 115.

What is the point of the modifier when you can just increase both the min price and the max price by 25 and get the same effect? The modifier effectively raises the average price. Therefore, the average price should take the modifier into account as well, otherwise it would be an erroneous display.

IP coded it before I worked on SEN. I simply used his code, because why should I recode stuff which was already done?

Because it's broken?
define broken, lol. Broken is something different, this is rather intended.

Then you have bad intentions. The example Aristo has shown is clearly stupid. The price range should be smaller.

I've stumbled upon a bug...
When I use the Youtube embed button, everything works fine, and it puts the code down... But once it does that, it sends me back into the front page...
It's quite weird.
This happened when I'm using google chrome, and i think firefox too.
I can simply type the code down tho.

That reminds me, I need to put a black outline on 'em, to make them look better. And the second image I posted needs transparency.

Also,
http://www.staredit.net/?p=store&area=logs doesn't show minerals given through the "Contest Manager" page (which I decided to try for the August Contest). Is there a way to change that, or does it not matter so much?

Wasn't DTBK the one who was supposed to try that?

Yes, to see if it worked. And it does work. That has nothing to do with my suggestion.

Is it just me or would the checkboxes in the PM list be much better if they were placed on the left side? It's really difficult to match PMs to checkboxes quickly when the title is so far away from the box. I accidentally deleted a few important PMs because of this as well...
