Just popping in to say it looks like M9 will be done by the end of the month. Also wanted to broadcast the changes so it's not so big of a shock, and senners that play ts will have a heads up. M9 will be more different from M8 than M8 was to M7.
(in order of importance)
Multiple Heroes - each team will have separate selection areas where they can pick w/e they want regards of what the other teams picks. Each team can have the same hero, but a team can't have more than 1 of that hero. Players will not be able to see what their opponents select.(it will also start off in night like v1.6)
Enemy spawn +1 - Replaces spawn number upgrade. Cost is 3 civs(team). Each enemy lane produces an extra spawn.
Spawn HP - Replaces Spawn Level Upgrade. Increases all allied spawn starting HP.
Warp Building - A purchasable building that will warp you back to base.
Purchasable Overload - No speed or carry upgrades. Assasin Lv2 will kill it.
Temple Heal - You are no longer invincible at temple. The heal trigger has a cooldown of 7 seconds. The area of healing is also very distinguishable now through terrain.
Warp Gate capping - You will now visibly see your progress on the amount of time remaining for capping via the warp gates HP. It will start at 50% HP. The gate's HP will inch closer to %100 for north, and 1% for south. The % will freeze, not reset, when capping is interrupted.
Spawn Gates - take an extra 100 seconds longer to respawn.
Mission briefings - will serve as a sort of community bulletin board about TS tournys and rankings.
Hero ChangesArcher - Lv1 will use Disabled Mutalisks that stack when moved via triggers. They can also remain hotkey'd. Lv2 will work like mutant lv2, but with hydras. Lv3,4 remain, but only due to lack of a better replacement.
mutant - remove Lv3 spell channel.
assasin - remove lv1 channel and add recall to spell effect.
Summoner - Ling speed comes with Lv2. Ling attack comes with Lv3. Ultras are unaffected by spells, except assasin lv2.
Assault - lv1 drains (slowly) again. Nuke returned, ghost cannot load into bomber.
volt - nothing
spec ops - mine capping returned(less refund). possible revamp if time allows.
Mech - Speed returned. Lv2 now fires while moving only, but will not obstruct path.(its really awesome)
DM - feedback can be cast instantly. recasting doesn't remove original, just heals and resets energy.
Warrior - nothing
Medic - Lv4 gives 8 hp levels(instead of 5). -1 (or -2) attack upgrade. Lv1 now creates 1 medic near each allie for 4.5 seconds.(so its global)
