yeah, that's the problem, i press q and doesn't appear the equipment place, y press z or x and doesn't appear the spells, even the w for potion. and samsizzle i think you;re right but will it work with a patch??? or do i HAVE to get the game? i'dont want to use patches 'cause it crashes all the mods i sometimes use.

I'm wondering how this map was able to hide the observers while also visioning certain areas. If someone could tell me how he did this then that would be awesome =)

I'm pretty sure there is some technique out there but I've only seen it in this map so far.

Go to the database here on SEN, download the SC downgrader in order to change patches easy. Go to blizzard and download latest patch (1.16)

Not sure why he didn't use burrowed units, much less noticeable. I guess you gotta have a patch of clear terrain though.

Even if you do get the latest version you can use sc downgrader for mods.

i was playing 1.0.7.
now the EUD works how it should with the 1.61. (^_^)

You already got a reply for this, but I tried it in single player mode, and it is actually possible to play that way, even with the constant "Center Screen". You just have to move your cursor and click very, very fast. (Although, don't actually try it, I was just playing around with it.)

Just finished beating this after 3 hours and 23 minutes and having to load twice to fight the Templar boss as it took me a bit to get a good spell pattern down. Anyway I had fun getting the hidden items that required using the X special to get to otherwise unaccessible areas and using it to jump some barriers for that matter though a few times that took longer than I would have liked. I did miss one pot near the start in the jungle as I never could get X to let me jump up as it always made me jump down there :-/. I liked the style of going from small terrain area to small terrain area. I've only played one other rpg that used that system so it was relatively innovative. I liked the forest challenge, it took a bit to get it down but I think I could walk through it both ways in my sleep now :bleh:. Jungle was a great place to hide lots of chests and items and I had fun finding them all--admittedly the mini-map made it easier though.

I thought the invisible path was pretty easy as I saw the pattern in the other room and just copied the dots on a piece of paper and counted it out, first try no mistakes. Kraken took me a while though, I figured there had to be some D(Action) involved but it took a while to figure it out. After that it was easy to figure out X was my way to get to the head. I had to make two trips to the town until the fire arrows thing worked--didn't realize I had to sit around for two messages initially. I thought the puzzles for the most part weren't too difficult and were just challenging enough and quite a few of them had hint rooms or at least telltale signs in the terrain to indicate what to do. The only thing that didn't give you a hint was the forrest and that was fun to figure out I thought :-).


Last boss took a bit of work to defeat but it was worth it. I was disappointed at some of the story and especially at the ending. I found a couple items near the end I wanted to use but wasn't able to as the ending snuck up on me (the X upgrade an alchemy book). I hope some of the stuff from this one carriers over to the sequel if it's ever made. Oh yea and to the guy that couldn't find the Z upgrade--it's hidden in the jungle you have to shoot a scourge with an arrow to unlock it or else its out in the open iunder some foliage--I forget which.

So, I just downloaded this and started to play it. I am rather intrigued by the mechanics and can't wait to actually play it.
But I am having the same very issue OSE was having. The hotkeys will not work for me. As in D to open chests, W for w/e and Z C and whatever else. Nothing works. :-(
I am running version 1.16.1. and I am on a MAC OSX.
Bear in mind that I have played other UMS RPGS with very in-depth features and they have worked for me.
Also, I have tried to play it single-player, and on-line.

Any ideas?

You cannot play this game on MAC's, it's just that simple, it was designed for Windows.

That does not help. You must have missed the part where I said,

Melee works just fine as well.

Anyone else have something besides, "You cannot play this game on MAC's" ?
