If you don't know what clown walking, aka c walking is, you can see videos on youtube or at pimpmywalk.com. And no, it's not a gang walk like crip walk, but rather a dance that's similiar but a lot more complicated and flashy. Any SENners clown walk?
Here's a not-too-bad example of it:

I can do the Melbourne shuffle, which is pretty much where most things like that originated. Pretty basic, but I added my own style into it.
The only difference I see is that he uses the front of his foot more often where as in my style of shuffling that is practiced by others as well, we throw kicks and hand motions into it; Commonly referred to as Hardstyle.

I've tried doing the melbourne shuffle before, I don't have fluid movements to learn that type of dancing D: It's an awesome style, especially hardstyle.
I am pretty sure this Clown Walking came from the Melbourne considering the steps are pretty much the same. The Melbourne, just from having done some research not that long ago, originated from Australia, but has been widely adapted by American- and German-Style techno/trance listeners, rave-goers and people who overall enjoy music with a strong beat. Many different styles of it have been made and there are several communities of these dancers, that are well within the hundreds.
Clown walking's history is a little different. It originated from the crips walk, and incorporated other things such as airwalking, moonwalking, and the melbourne shuffle. It's more hiphop orientated than the shuffle. The biggest community of clowners is over 30000, and there's apparently another similiar-sized forum.

I never learned more than a basic c-walk with the added back step. EDIT: Btw, the guy in the vid zany posted has a good c-walk but I don't think he ever did it to music because he has no rhythm.

Hardstyle isn't even that 'hard'.... Lawlz
Liquid is what I do, I don't want to jump around like a fairy trying to mimic amphetamine-induced dances
