I know you can play an imported WAV file with an action, but is there a way to have it loop? and stop looping when player 1 brings something to a certain location?

None.

Player 1 bring at most 0 unit to location

play wav
wait time wav lasts
preserve trigger

Hello

Condition: Player X brings exactly 0 MEN to locationX
Action: Preserve Trigger
Action: Play Wav "whatever"
Action: Wait for (play-duration)

this should work for you, For your information: you cannot stop a WAV while it's playing, only stop playing it when the sound was played.

like I have this trigger that when the elapsed game time is 13 seconds, it plays a wav, but how do I get it to loop, but get it to stop looping when that bring condition is met?

None.

as already said:
you cannot set a wav to loop, you only can play the wav and add a wait with the long of the wav, then a preserve trigger so it loops when the conditions are filled.
for example, the wav has a lenght of 1 scond.

Player:
-> the players who should hear the sound (the don't use current player in the condition)
Condition:
-> Elapsed time is at least 13 secounds
-> any condition you would like to have
Action:
-> Play WAV
-> Wait 1000 millisconds
-> Preserve Trigger

That's all.

Take a look at rush. Open it up in scmdraft and copy/paste the trigedit code into notepad++. Search for .wav and you'll see the way he did his looping triggers.

I think you should stay away from wait triggers though... use Death Counters instead.

Waits cause extreme problems and can really slow down your map. I would go as far to say as NEVER use waits.

unless of course your not using hyper triggers.

True, waits are not good with hypers.
If you want to take a look at my map, which has a looping music using deaths triggers, u can see how its done...
And also, 12 deaths [with hyper triggers] = 1 Second

I never use waits for wav's deaths are the way to go. A bit different, but whatever. Its amazing to think of what mapmaking would be like without the discovery of hyper triggers, and death counts and all that.
