Just curious who had to spend the most on textbooks this semester. :(

Mine cost $780.11 for five classes worth of texts. How did you pan out.

Hm... probably about $150, including shipping. I rarely buy things I can't find for $10 or less on Amazon. Mooching is the way to go :P

Just Here For The Pie

Heh, I remember one semester not having enough cash to buy the text book for my Psychology class.
Every time I went to class I just took power notes, and wrote every word that came out of the teacher's mouth

Needless to say, I passed the class with a B letter grade.

More like paper, hundreds of pencils, ink all sorts of cardboards, tons of watts consumed by computers to make plans...

I spent a grand total of $0.00 for school supplies this school year. Everything I got was either leftovers from last year, or I "found" it on the ground.

I spent absolutely nothing. All the material I need is given to us on lactures and found in our library.

That didn't work for me. :\ two of them were written by my professor, and two of them were the newest edition, about the same price on Amazon as they were in the bookstore.

$150

And my professors are now telling me they are optional...

It really depends on the size of your class - this happens to me from time to time but I usually get away with borrowing/using roommate's/people down the hall/library copies. But if it's a small class you're stuck.

I got a good deal. $35 for my calculus book. I didn't buy any of the other "Required" books though, textbooks are a scam.

Pretty much all my classes are small now that I'm UD. Also I got a commuter school...so no roommates or down the hall options for me.
