Zycorax - Zycorax - ?
i had a really funny and epic game with vengeful spirit. i wanted to try her out, so i joined a 2v2 game. i had a partner that had never played before. he picked arachna, and my enemy picked hammerstorm (o noes!) and pyromancer
he got ganked like 5 times and i killed hammer once in the beginning, and i kept on trying to tell him to be careful.
We pushed them out of our base a couple of times, and lost our towers.
it was pyro lvl 25, me lvl 20, arachna lvl 17, and hammer lvl 19. pyro kept on pwning us, but eventually i lvled to 25. during one of the pushes into our base, we pwned both of them, then counter pushed against them and pwned them.
the total kill amount was 16-4 (in their favor) and we still won....
I think adromeda is awesome at getting denies and last hits, but i think my favorite might be legionaire.

a positive k:d doesnt meant hat your good with a hero
yeah i know, but when you kill 13 people in a game and your team only has 25 kills, that might be pretty good.
either way, i like blacksmith.

Playing with and against newbs allows you to develop simple skills without the fear of being ganked much. Eventually you will get better and start to own the newbs with ease. By then ganking the newbs, you see what works, and you see that oh wait, I shouldn't push out that far, since I usually gank those which push out that far. It's stupid to play with people clearly better than you, since it's not fun, and the game is already decided before you even start. There's little to learn from a game where one team has a 5 level advantage each.

k, tried two games so far and I'm impressed. What I especially like is the hotkeys, which I never used in DotA because they were different on most heroes and often were in unpractical places. qwer ftw
Played as Accursed and Electrician. Accursed was meh (Fire Shield thingy was pretty good though), while Electrician was pretty good

Fair enough, when I say better, I don't say levels better, I mean moderately better. Even then, you can't develop a sense of true teamwork until you play with people who actually knows what that means. But as long as we're learning, it's fine. Just know that owning newbs can only take one so far before you hit a skill ceiling.
And I directed that to people in general, not specifically to you Shredder.

Scout's my new favorite hero. I went 4/3/8 with him in my first game ever as him. That makes Scout the third hero that I've played with that I've gotten a K:D >1
Scout is a killsteal hero for 90% of people. The only good scouts get Electric Eye before anything else and contribute to the team as a support player and initiator. Meaning if you kill someone with your ultimate in a teamfight, you're doing it wrong.
It's easy to get away with it too, but most Scouts are TERRIBLE and don't help the team at all.

Nevermind, I went 2-7 in my last game with him. Blood Hunter again.
tits
Also, don't build Astrolobe on Bloodhunter. It really doesn't work for him. =P You want some survivability along with decent damage.

On the HoN forums, if you get to a page that has been deleted it says something along the lines of:
"
This page made like a scout.... stolen a kill? No! Ran away when you needed him most."
None.
on bh, you want survivability and aps. wingbow is a good item on him, but also something like assassin's shroud can be good because of his ult.

Just here for the activity... well not really
Some form of boots -> Soulscreams -> Slash OR Riftshards -> Shrunken Head -> Hack OR Flayer -> MoB -> Wingbow
That's my major item build on BH.

Kevin has perfected the art of being Bloodhunter, though I'm not sure in a good way.

lol, it seems that ts has taken more of the backburner for most of us, and HoN has taken over, at least for me thats the case.

Actually, I don't understand that either. You either rush mock or you don't get it. If you're going for a high expensive item early, you get it. Otherwise, wait till end game or until you feel confident you can farm up 3000+ gold. In that late game, wingbow > mock. I think rushing mock on bloodhunter would actually be decent, the sparkles + the damage will help you farm and keep your hp high.

mob=radiance?
the point of it before wingbow is to damage invisible units that are low on hp. Since in HON, bh you can't attack low hp invisble units without wards or something. In dota when the enemy is low, you're able to attack them while they're invis.

Or dust. dust even. 200 gold, for dust. get one kill, you've made back the money. for dust. dust for 200 gold.
