Currently, the SENzine project is slated to be supported by CampSite http://www.campware.org/en/
Previous candidates were QuarkXpress and Drupal. QuarkXpress could give us everything we need, but it is expensive and requires pirating. Drupal is really for managing an entire community, with magazine generation being part of that umbrella; too exhaustive for our needs.

So far development in this area is non-existent. I have only messed around with their demo for a few minutes, and downloaded the software. Simply downloading this yourself and telling us what you think about it would be better where are at here so far.

If you have any concerns or suggestions for any software dealing with this project, please state them here.

I tested it out. Seems pretty solid, once you start working at it.

I suggest, however, that if you have a better program at your disposal, use that one now- before you get into several issues. By then, it will be incredibly difficult to switch bases.

I noticed that it has a section for Paid Subscriptions. We're not charging for this, are we? There's a lot of things here that we don't need in this program.

None.

As long as it is a couple features not being used, as opposed to the majority of the program, that should be ok. I'd be surprised if you used every feature in any software for one project.

Ultraviolet -- Yeah, I suppose there's something to that

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value
[2024-5-06. : 5:01 am]
Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Ultraviolet -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
