I was wondering if there was an add-on for FireFox that put your tabs on the same toolbar right next to your links. I only have 3 bookmarks there and it seems like a waste of space.
Delete the bookmarks, remove bookmarks toolbar. Problem solved.
But I use the bookmarks(all 3 of them)

This is an extra click, and scrolling. Do you go to File>Exit when you close fire fox?
I appreciate all the thinking-outside-the-box suggestions from you guys I REALLY do... but I want to be able to stack my tabs next to my bookmarks.
i suggest giving the bookmarks the keyword shortcut.....problem solved...

Whoa, I forgot that exists. Who uses that? Grandma?
Out of the many years I have used Firefox, I have NEVER used file>exit. Weird to think about it.
None.
Maybe if your resolution is high or if using widescreen:
Download Smart Bookmarks Bar to turn your bookmarks into simple icons.
Right click on the toolbars, click customize.
Drag bookmarks to url area, either before or after.
Save space by killing: home, refresh, stop icons?
Add space / spacers as you see fit.
Right click on the toolbars, uncheck bookmarks toolbar.
None.

There is actually a use for it, compared to clicking the X. If you have Firefox configured to open everything back up when you re-open it and you have at least more than one window open with tabs in each, it will open all windows and tabs back up the next time you start Firefox if you used File -> Exit, rather than just the ones from the last window you closed, since that command closes all Firefox windows at once.

Actually, I hit alt+f, x when my hand is near the keyboard and not the mouse. Also, do you honestly use your bookmarks THAT much?

F4 is far away. 'f' and 'x' are nearly underneath my index and middle fingers, respectively, already.
Incidentally, I have an add-on for restarting firefox the same way as is used for when add-ons/themes are change, but whenever desired ( i.e., it'll re-open all my tabs and stuff ) . Since I set my Firefox to delete all temporary data other than cookies, I normally lose any tabs open when restarting. >.>

How do I move my file/edit stuff there to the right. Fx won't let budge them an inch even though I can select them.
I am also unfamiliar with the 2 icons right of the home icon.

In customize, you can just drag the menu bar. Those 2 icons are Downloads and New Tab.

Ha, nice, that's EXACTLY my setup, except that I added the history button and search bar next to the address bar.
I was just thinking about posting a screeny of it when I saw yours.
