http://www.staredit.net/files/1154/

Basically swaps the red and blue values of the colors of every tileset palettes. The result is quite interesting though.

EDIT: Sorry for the lack of screenshots I'll add some of them tomorrow :P
EDIT2: Ashworld looks quite cool with this mod and desert looks surprisingly similar to twlight :P
EDIT3: Screenshots added :)

I made a simple C++ program which reads a .wpe file and swaps the red and blue channels. Then passed all the .wpe files through it and made the mod with the new .wpe files. Simple :)

Pure greens and purples remain the same since the have the same red and blue ammounts :P

EDIT: I might try later to edit only the tileset-dependent sections of the palette. I might be able to leave the unit colors unchanged :P
EDIT2: Nope, the terrain tileset graphics do contain unit colors, so it looks glitched:
[attach=2529]

I might try someday to update the program to edit the tileset files and find a best-matching tileset-dependent color for those glitched pixels. Not sure if it'll look good though.

NO! It's a lot cooler when unit colors get changed too!

As for the Creep, can't you manually change its color?

I love this mod. I'm going to use it almost all the time. Archons/Dark Archons look really cool. So do Photon Cannon and Dragoon weapons. (They look like they're shooting fireballs.) It also looks cool when Zerglings and stuff die and have blue blood.

Only bad part of it is having to ask "Wait, which color am I?" on Bnet. You get really weird reactions. And then people say your hacking when you explain that your using a mod. :P

If that's the bad part...why do you not want him to leave unit colors?

BOooooooooooo Vista hates this thing. It brings up something about DEP :\

Feb 12 2009, 11:14 pm Sand Wraith Post #13

she/her

DEP must be disabled completely, apparently, to run this. Do a Google search and you'll find a few websites about disabling DEP. As a pre-emptive note, CMD.exe must be "Run as Administrator" and the computer must be restarted after changing DEP settings.

Those colors that are glitched are supposed to be the color cycling colors. You should try not to change them.

Just run the EXE to enable. The changes will be gone next time you start SC.

I got the error "Unable to locate StarCraft.exe to load patch" or something. I don't have any reg file for SC, and have it in a non-standard folder. The exe is in my SC folder...
