cloaking buildings in 1.15.3?

i can't cloak buildings, units, or ANYTHING. how do i do it?

i understand not every building/unit can be cloaked or made invisible, but do i just disable their doodad state? or is their a trick?

Hello

Well... first of all: the zerg borruwable units can be cloaked with an Arbiter.... hope you know that trick

for everything you can use Unit-Sprites and Disable - Disable - Enable doodadsprite....
for Units you have to order them into a direction
so... DISABLE @ X
order from X to Y
teleport From Y zu X
disable @ X
order from X to Z
teleport from Z to X
enable @ X
order from X to O
teleport from O to X
teleport from X to LOCATION WHERE EVER THE UNIT SHOULD "SPAWN"
As far as I know: never look at the unit/building while processing; you may crash then, so make fog about that area

Lemme just clarify, Devourer gave a really odd way of doing it(I'm not even certain it works) the normally used method is:
Disable - Wait 0- Enable - Wait 0 - Enable - Wait 0(not sure if you need it here) - Order

Then they should be cloaked and stable.

The second Enable seems superfluous... The order, however, is necessary.
I just tested it and all you need is:
Disable, Wait, Enable, Wait, Order

however I just saw triggers of them.... and as far as I remember it was that way... I never used that system so you may are right... however... I think we solved his problem :O

As far as I know, everyone does the double Enable. It doesn't change anything if you do it twice...
I may be wrong, though. I did not do a very extensive test.

Create a burrowed unit and order an Arbiter to it. Just as the Arbiter comes in range for cloaking, tell the unit to order (or unburrow if you aren't doing it by trigger.) Remove the Arbiter and your unit shouldn't uncloak.

there is a complete trigger way to do so.... make like in bounds a fats arbiter explosion-trigger [with hyper triggers]
place a ground unit [borruwed proporties] under the explosion and order it.... it will be cloaked forever... I just made a def with that system... you only had an observer and many def units... harhar.. you were happy when you got another obs :D

that system works to 100% [or 99%^^]

When you can use triggers, all you have to do is create it, and since it's under the arbiter, when you unburrow it, it's still being "cloaked" from the creation, so it does the same effect.

Yeah, that's all I've heard since I got into mapping, if you're right, that'd be nice, it means less wait time, so a faster transfer.

Be warned that certain buildings crash when disabled.

For example: Protoss buildings being warped that get disabled CRASH.

Somewhere in the wiki (you may have to look in the ML wiki for this one) is a list I made a long time ago of every units disable effect. It doesn't include disable/enable or disabling while looking away, though.

Nexus and Pylon are the only non-special protoss buildings that crash.

Which terran building, and for some of them, like bunkers, all you need to do is disable.

Can you tell us exactly what you're trying to do?
